yooo Steven, can I ask for a 3 month follow up on how the fitment is going so far? How much do you think cutting the rear fender helped overall when it comes to rubbing? I just put 275s on the same wheels you previously had, mine are +38, and even with having trimmed the plastic fender I still get rub. Cutting the metal is the next step for me, but I wanted to see how well it worked for you. thanks!
You went with wider wheels/tires, but then had to use more camber. Do you think in the end you ended up with more traction for 2nd gear or did the camber negate it?
Love the build! Question for you.... between the C70 and the new R5C what would be your pick? Both cameras have strengths and weakness, I would love to hear from you or even better watch a video of you picking them apart!!!! Keep up the awesome content.
I have both the C70 and R5C and I would pick C70 over the R5C because I think it's a better cinema camera plus it has built-in ND filters. If I had to choose one camera though I would pick the R5C since it can take photos as well. I always prefer to use at least 2 cameras because of my line of work but if you had to choose a single camers to do it all, the R5C is great 👍🏻
As someone with a 370z I want to change platforms into a type r. I love my Z, I’ve had it for 3 years. It’s a 19’ so still fairly new but I’ve really been itching for a type r. Just wondering if anyone out there has done this change of platform from a Z to a type r. What could I be expecting ?
Coming from a BRZ (RWD coupe, but not as much power as a Z) I'd say it's very different. Different but good. The power of the Type R is great and still has more potential with tuning and bolt-ons. The thing you will enjoy the most is the fact that the Type R has a turbo. You will love having boost and all the cool things that come with owning a boosted car. Also, it's super practical vs a 370z which is a coupe. Handling wise the Type R is amazing as well and it's a car you want to take to a track. Imo the greatest modern FWD vehicle made both on the streets and the race track.
@@spamsubie thank you for the reply spam !! I’m really deep into my Z so I’m hoping I can part out at a good price and start looking at a type r! And def, the space is something that I’m lookin forward too. Something about 4 door cars have just caught my attention recently and man does the type r look good! The only thing I’m iffy about is the fwd. I don’t really “slide” or “drift” my car but I do canyon runs here and there and I’m not sure if going into a fwd would change the drive feel. I know the CTR is a track focused car that can put out power I just don’t know how the transition from RWD to FWD would be.
@@fk8omar you'll be pleasantly surprised as soon as you drive one! The handling is better than a Z imo and it drives like its on rails. I forget its FWD because it has zero torque steer as well haha
All that tire but not using it because its cambered in so much. Not to mention clearly not a car that will see the track so not sure why you would need so much tire anyway.
I go to the track every month with this car and it's been a blast. -2.5 to -3 is usually what I'd run for my track cars but I had to run -4 since the wheel offset is quite aggressive, but I like the look personally and the performance does not suffer much (maybe just faster tire wear) but to each their own
Bruh THAT FITMENT THO *chefs kiss* 🤌🏼
Damn meaty fitment! White TE37s look so good on red!
I hope you never stop making videos.
Your type r is soo clean. My next car will definitely be red with white wheels such a clean combination
I'm in love with that Honda😍

Well that was quick 😮

At -4 camber and 275/35 tires I still felt way more grip than I ever had before on track
Camrea quality looks amazing 💯

Eyy new vid!
FIREEEE🔥🔥🔥
Sooo spicyyyy
what exactly did you do to your tails! They are so subtle and clean!
I painted them with VHT red and a light smoke, plus a clear coat! Glad you noticed them :)
Your Type R is thick AF! I like :P
I just realized... You don't need to remove the rear bumper to remove the rear over fender? How??
Just need to remove 2 screws connected to the rear bumper and it can pop off
@@spamsubie dude, thank you lol. Going to do them tonight!
Amazing job nice job 👏
What ceramic coat did you use?
Putting the 10.5 in front and the 9.5 in the rear is an interesting move.
This is just reverse staggered since the Type R is front wheel drive lol
@@spamsubie I had a feeling that was the reason. Just never heard of anyone doing it.
7:17 THAT EF THO
Front splitter name?
What’s your spring rate?
Busted
SSSSSHHHHEEESSSSHHHH 😤😤😤
Get the EVS front lower ball joint and you get more camber
I think i'm good on camber haha
-4 is already a bit much for my taste!
the front tire rotation is backwards 😬😬
could have saved money by doing the fender flares to begin with. looks dope nonetheless
Link to buy?
honey wake up. spamsubie uploaded a video

Should’ve coat them before the tires. He didn’t have to put lube on the wheel itself, just the tire. Great car!!
All hail Yunior, he knows right from wrong.
What lugs nuts brand are you using
Project Kics Monolith
From Gold to White TEs

I wanna run this aggressive on my subie so clean 🥲
Damn I swear everyone with a ralleye red type r gets white te37 🔥 lol…
What third brake light is that?
Stock, just modified to blink
I’ve always wanted that do you mind if i ask how you did it?
Ever think of getting the GR86? A nice rwd platform.
I owned a Subaru BRZ for about 4 years
I been thinking of getting the new one soon so I can have more 86/BRZ content again!
In germany we say: bekommst du so nicht eingetragen^^
Hi dad
Couldn't do this to mine. mess up the handling.
Handling is fine. I track mine a lot and it actually feels better lol

Ja weiße Felgen . So viel Ceramik kannste garnicht auftragen das die weiß bleiben .
Ok.. Looks ugly
For the fender trimming. What did you use for rust prevention?
Paint! Just dab/brush/spray it with rustoleum
Damn, no mention of mrsexys2k for the fender modifications.
