I have a 2012 Nissan Sentra S with over 191,000 miles on it. Never had an issue with the original CVT. I changed the fluid every 60,000 miles as required in the owner’s manual. Nissan is capable to be reliable as Toyota and Honda. You haters should learn how to read a manual and drive a car properly and you won’t have any problems long term.

i hate the boring cvt transmition,its all, its not a bad car.
I have a 1998 maxima still going very strong and a 2019 Sentra that gets awesome gas mileage! Love them both.
You know I'm in love when I watch videos about this car and actually have one. SMH lol I love it. It's a really great car.

This model of the Sentra is so clean. The interior looks awesome because it doesn't look like a run of the mill economy car. I hope Nissan makes a Nismo version with a manual and a turbo charged engine option.

I have a 2007 Sentra Spec V, manual transmission. It's pretty quick and fun. It has active exhaust and sport suspension. But the quality of the 2020 is far better.

The car is beautiful. A baby Maxima... 140 ish horsepower is also good for a light car like this .

The 2020 Sentra is the result of Maxima and Altima slept together then Altima give birth to the Sentra. It got a little DNA from the Maxima and looks more like his mamma, the Altima.

Love the interior on this, wish my 2019 Sentra SR turbo had this interior, but I’m happy with the Bose audio and the 188 horsepower on mine

Keep that generation, it doesn't have Jatco transmission yet. This one unfortunately has it and is a deal breaker.. They need to partner up with toyota transmission or honda

Nissan are very reliable. I previously owned a 2011 Nissan Altima and that CVT at first terrified me but I still purchased the vehicle because the price was to good to pass on. Let me tell you My oil changes were late, never even changed the transmission oil but I did change the brakes, tires, etc. but nothing major. I bought the car at 70k miles and still sold it at 250k miles ran without a damn problem but I can’t vouch for the new Nissan models as I never owned one but I am sure they are as reliable as the mighty Toyota and Honda’s.
The only drawback that the previous sentra had was the CVT box (too delicate) because it overheated and forced it to break the CVT, supposedly in 2021 they corrected it by putting the new CVT with 2 low gears, but from then on it was not heard problems with the cvt in these new models
i went to nissan today and looked at some cars so far the one that i like is the nissan sentra 2020 sr
I'll get one this at the end of this year so I'll get a better deal. It looks and drive nicer the previous model year, not to mention the looks! Good Job Nissan.

Just so you know your fog lights arent on. You paid for them so you might as well use them. They light up the first 3 feet in front of the car that your headlights dont. And its also weird that yout not talking before you started to drive

Mine came with a sunroof, i thought it was part of the SR package. I guess not if you don't have it?
You need to get the SR with the premium package. That will get you leatherette seats and a sunroof along with a few other options.

What trim level is this? The SR or SR premium?
Just the SR. The SR Premium is distinguished by full LED headlamps, the base SR has LED combination.

Would be nice if you could change the color of the interior lighting because the orange is getting a little old these days

Do the headlights turn on at the bottom?
They do if you have that setting on
oneguy the bottom lights are called fog lights and you turn them on by having ur lights on and then rotating the switch right next to it that has a picture of a light and the word off, you switch it up and on ur dashboard it should come up that ur fog lights are on, hope this helps

Always leased mine never had issues. But this CVT is the best I have driven.
You are stuck in 2007 lol... CVT is pretty reliable and the car will be under warranty anyway so who gives a damn unless you want to own a cheap compact car for over 15 years....

I notice Nissan Sentra SR pretty not enough high beam brighter light. Low beam seem too much on ground.
