Wow, these snowflakes bring back memories of macramé from the 1970's. When I knotted them, I used a metal ring for the middle, but, as far as I can see, that is the only difference. Thanks for sharing, and keeping macramé alive!!

You don't. You slip the end of the "one cord" back through the loop as she demonstrates. The ends then become two more strands of the snowflake

How long do the cords need to be if using 2mm cord? The middle one ends up far too short.
