consider trying this, wetting the entire fabric with water and wring out then watering down the glue twice as much, then brushing your original glue mix to it it while its flat with the glue, then apply your original glue water mix to the canvas then lay down the fabric and manipulate it, then add more glue water while you make final touches. if its loaded with glue water mix before you start moving it around it should be easier to form.
I absolutely love this project but I find it so hard to really see how you position the fabric due to the pattern on the bed sheet. Is there ANY possible way you can do this tutorial again with a plain sheet? PLEASE? 🙏❤
hello! thank you so much for the appreciation. we have another fabric painting tutorial with a white material, the model is slightly different. check this link th-cam.com/video/tbOOFIvoHA0/w-d-xo.htmlsi=NbhZ7V0fmizzrCHg
This is unbelievably beautiful. Just stunning!! I was wondering about wetting the fabric before painting. I thought the fabric might lose its shape and I was surprised it didn’t. You are really talented. I love this piece. ❤❤❤
Je viens de découvrir votre vidéo 😍, je suis vraiment fan de cette technique, jusqu'à présent j'ai toujours utilisé le plâtre. .. je vais tester avec de la colle . Merci pour votre partage
Beautiful, gorgeous colour. I usually put my fabric into a bucket of the glue mix all in one piece and wring it out. Then place it on the canvas and shape it. Thanku, it turned out beautiful ❤
I absolutely loved this video. I can’t wait to try it myself, but on a much smaller size canvas, of course. Thanks for sharing this video. I have subscribed to your channel.
This is absolutely beautiful. I would love to attempt to make this. What size canvas and sheet did you use? Also, the construction white glue you are using isn't the same as the glue on your amazon list. I only see a wood glue. Is that what you recommend using?
So beautiful. I have a question. You stated you wanted a gradient effect, and I heard you said you used white, but did you add it the paint at different times to get that effect? I have an extremely large canvas picture, one I've had for years, I want to repurpose it, I know it will fix my new home decor. Thank for sharing.
thank you much. you create in the beginning 3 gradient shades and you start applying each. you can create first the darkest shade and than gradually add white to create 3 different shades
Great vid..but honestly, I would have just clear coated the original material 💯..loved the great abstract pattern..the composition ✅..but hey, always stay true to yourself..n what you want to express..that's the true definition of art..we all see it through a different and unique lens..n that's a good thing😊
Sheesh...you could take a beautiful piece of already printed with abstract pattern fabric. No painting required. Wet with glue water. Place on canvas...Manipulate the fabric into the design you want. Let dry. Seal with a water based high gloss (makes for easy dusting off in the future) varnish....several coats. Let dry . WELLA...You've created another work of art. What you think ?

Do you ever add plaster of Paris to the glue/water solution?
No because it cracks
I love you clear step my step… the supplies used were straight forward and the demonstration… ❤

Love your technique! I have a question for you? I have lots of silk fabric and want to embellish my wallpaper with this technique? Would that be ok?
HELLO, YOUR WORKS LOVELY. DID U MIX PRIMER WITH WATER? AND DO U USE ARTIST PAINTS OR THE REGULAR ONES USED FOR HOUSE PAINTING?
Thnak you so much, it’s acrylic paint and I didn’t use water
I understand acrylic paint but is it the ones for house walls or thee ones used by artist from art supply store?
hello it's acrylic paint used for fabric, wood and furniture @@mizthang5740
You have so much patience! How long did it take to sculpt your fabric?
About 4 hours
I do this kind of art
I just use Normal.... Watered down White School Glue..
It works great... Believe me it works great..
Yes, it works as well but it’s more expensive if you buy a big quantity
Beautiful job 👏👏👏
Thank you so much
do you mix wall primer with water? amazing work🎉
No, the wall primer has to be light like water
Absolutely gorgeous ❤
You could dip your fabric sheet into wood glue solution and then stick to the canvas.
Yes you can but that way you risk having wrinkles
@@ateliermico okay thanks ☺️
Use of wedging the corner?
It stabilizes the canvas frame because the fabric with all the materials can cause deformation of the canvas frame in time due to its weight
@@ateliermico Oh okay 👍
EXCELLENT VIDEO
Thank you for Sharing this
So BEAUTIUFUL
I do know how to spell LOL
BEAUTIFUL
magnifique😍
thank you so much🤍
another lovely piece 🤩, can you use any type of fabric ? thank you 🤗
hello! we would recommend using cotton or taffeta
Can I ask why did you apply the wall primer? Also can you provide a link of it? Thanks
hello! it’s used to the wall paint can hold better.

Amazing ❤
How much wall primer shoyld be used? Does the fabric need to be pretty soaked in it?
hello! the fabric does not need to be soaked in wall primer. a thin layer should be enough.
This is absolutely beautiful. I would love to attempt to make this. What size canvas and sheet did you use? Also, the construction white glue you are using isn't the same as the glue on your amazon list. I only see a wood glue. Is that what you recommend using?
Thank you so much! The size is 80x80 centimeters, we recommend the wood glue from the amazon list because it’s better
@@ateliermico thank you so much 😊

What is the thing u put inside the canvas
Can you tell me at what part are you referring to?
Is this a sheet or blanket?
it’s sheet. 100% cotton
Very nice. Thank u for details
this is beautiful =)
Thank you so much❤️
Thank you for sharing your techniques🥰
Hi...can we use for fevicol for pasting the fabric?
hello! we only recommend using wood glue, from any brand.
You are amazing and thank you for keeping the tools you use❤️❤️❤️❤️❤️
thank you!🤍
I like it
thank you!
Can I use wall paint and white glue?
hello! you should use the wood glue to stick the material on the canvas and the wall paint to give the painting a finish
@@ateliermicooh ok so no kids glue, only wood glue and yes, wall paint works, thank you!!

Just clear coating the original wouldn't have matched the overall decor.
