I mean it looks similar but as in formulas its pretty different considering its an actual oil with a bunch of benefits with it while yours is more of a gloss with an oil consistency
I’m sorry but I don’t get the hype with Gisou. I tried their leave in conditioner (didn’t smell that great or work that great) and their hair oil… aside from just having it to take influencer like photos I just don’t get it. I like MoroccanOil better and I like the Briogeo leave in conditioner better.

I don't believe it's a dupe cuz the original one has that colour and taste and smell because it has many oils like jojoba oil put in the formula, I think. And yours is yellow colouring.

It’s pretty much a dupe just with a different scent/smell. It’s a lip oil the two would serve the same purpose/function anyway one is just less expensive/cheaper with only one or two missing ingredients. A dupe is typically something that is the same shade( or close enough) or serves the same purpose of an expensive makeup product, but for cheaper. Like Elf has a great dupe to one of the new charlotte T foundations, they serve the same purpose and perform almost the same, just one is cheaper.

Thank you! This is exactly what I came to say too. The color doesn't only matter since they're clear on the lips anyway. It's also about if they FEEL the same on the lips and since the original lip oil uses actual honey and a bunch of various oils it would be a good dupe if it mimics not only the same color but also the same, hydration and feeling of soft moisturized lips.

Swatches look similar but the consistency doesn’t look like a dupe at all. Original is thinner and looks more like just oil whereas yours looks more like a very runny gloss and is cloudier. Not a bad thing just not the same
well whether it's a dupe or not MOSTLY depends on how it performs since lip oils like these aren't much to look at when you're wearing it, whereas like charlotte T vs elf is a lot about how it looks when it's applied

The lipgloss you tried to recreate looked a bit more yellow yellow and yours looks like a slightly more orange yellow but that is just a nitpick for the swatch. Still a close match.

This one is not dupeable it has propolis, honey, sodium hyaluronate, so many nice extracts and oils and no colorants❤️❤️❤️ but your version is still beautiful ❤️

I think you got it wrong the gison one contains product that can help ur lips unlike the u did the on you did has color and normal gloss and nice sent Even though it smells horrible it still helps ur lips 😊❤
You should make your OWN lip oils in special containers, and a mystery gloss that is always a different shade

+the lip-oil is clear on the lips, it’s texture is what makes it special and It would be a lot harder to make that similar.
