I truly appreciate his talent. I have watched Maalik, Trance and another one lately; all on Prime and let me tell you they are best from the rest of the crowded flicks that we watch in North India. His choice of films is so unique, nobody else can do it better than him, definitely not the bollywood actors! I think it was Chiranjeevi who rightly said in an award event in Delhi that South Indian films and actors have not received their due recognition even after so many years. In complete agreement with him, that I am, I really wish the government gives a wider platform to South Indian movie industry. They are the very foundation of our culture and cinema, quite literally, as several of the new bollywood movies pick up scripts from South!

Still remember when I saw Bangalore Days (my 1st ever malyalam movie). I turned that movie on because of Dulquer, Nivin and Nazriya, but at the end being an admirer of FaFa's acting.
Fafa is one of the few actors who are raising up the Indian Cinema to the highest of standards. And he does this by not only being an excellent and versatile actor but also by his ability to choose good movies/script to act in.
I've been following him since his film Trance and I was totally blown. He sort of creates magic with his eyes. He made me enter the cinema of Malayalam and guess what it's been my favourite industry around. FaFa is goona break all records someday and I hope to see Oscar being lifted with his hands. I mean honestly, if Vikram wasn't marketed as Kamal's comeback after 4 years and instead as Amar, featuring Fahadh as the protagonist, no one would've questioned it. The man was basically as much, if not more prominent in the story than Kamal himself and my god did he do a cracking job at it.
The nicest feature of FaFa is that unlike his contemporaries he doesn't come on social media to make tall claims and to establish a larger than life image. He will do his job and go.
My favourite actor from India at the moment. I love reviewing this movies and the nuances he brings... He got fans in the internationally as well who appreciates his honest portrayals. I think his Godfather like gangster portrayal in Malik was truly underrated. FaFa a true template for any aspiring actors out there.

I have sometimes felt Fahadh Faasil acting is similar to Kamal Hassan in his 1990s. His acting is phenomenal. No need of a mass body for good acting. His eyes conveys all emotions strongly. You should watch his superb films-22 female Kottayam, Chappa Kurishu, Maheshinte Prathikaram, Kumbalangi Nights, Oru Indian Pranayakadha in Malayalam and Vikram in Tamil. Director Priyadarshan has told recently, his favourite young actor is Fahadh.
Actually its not that simple,after his first film tanked he went to US to pursue engineering.But dropped out and wanted to study film making.Then he came back and went through the grind.Doing bit roles,cameos,character roles.Slowly he build himself to the behemoth he is today.Thats why keralites dont see him as a product of nepotism.

As a South Indian, I have always been concerned about South Cine Industry, particularly Kannada and Malayalam were great at arts but commercially weren't great..but new generation actors have set new highs.

I truly appreciate his talent. I have watched Maalik, Trance and another one lately; all on Prime and let me tell you they are best from the rest of the crowded flicks that we watch in North India. His choice of films is so unique, nobody else can do it better than him, definitely not the bollywood actors!
I think it was Chiranjeevi who rightly said in an award event in Delhi that South Indian films and actors have not received their due recognition even after so many years. In complete agreement with him, that I am, I really wish the government gives a wider platform to South Indian movie industry. They are the very foundation of our culture and cinema, quite literally, as several of the new bollywood movies pick up scripts from South!

I mean honestly, if Vikram wasn't marketed as Kamal's comeback after 4 years and instead as Amar, featuring Fahadh as the protagonist, no one would've questioned it. The man was basically as much, if not more prominent in the story than Kamal himself and my god did he do a cracking job at it.

I have sometimes felt Fahadh Faasil acting is similar to Kamal Hassan in his 1990s. His acting is phenomenal. No need of a mass body for good acting. His eyes conveys all emotions strongly. You should watch his superb films-22 female Kottayam, Chappa Kurishu, Maheshinte Prathikaram, Kumbalangi Nights, Oru Indian Pranayakadha in Malayalam and Vikram in Tamil. Director Priyadarshan has told recently, his favourite young actor is Fahadh.

Actually its not that simple,after his first film tanked he went to US to pursue engineering.But dropped out and wanted to study film making.Then he came back and went through the grind.Doing bit roles,cameos,character roles.Slowly he build himself to the behemoth he is today.Thats why keralites dont see him as a product of nepotism.
