Being someone who doesn't have the time and patience to build cool ships but wants cool ships these tutorials are much appreciated.
I’m the same. I just lack imagination at times. And I build freaking robots for a job.
one thing people should know is that you dont have to fly the ship itself to the shipyards or docks for the parts, you can fly an already finished ship, then when you choose which ship to work on in the builder you just select the one you are building.
But how can you exit without completing the ship? Always blocks me from exiting if I’ve got bits missing or fail the build list
I believe what's being implied is that as long as you make it a "legal" build, you don't have to use it right away. But rather use a more flight worthy option.
Although to be honest unless you're going somewhere you haven't been before, you'd be safe to drive a slow "brick" as you'll almost certainly not get into any combat.
@@Callum-R you cannot save the ship build without it having the bare essentials making it flight and dock/land capable. the error page tells u whats missing.
@@Zagor24hopefully they fix that with their update. They already said they’ll be adding a proper map to the game.
Another thing everyone should know is that you really don't have to fly the ship at all....just fast travel through the game😂😂😂just some humor here. Love the game, building ships is the best, and your videos are cool.
The ship looks fantastic! Would love to see the Krait Mk II and if you're _really_ ambitious... I think that the Federal Corvette from Elite Dangerous could translate well over to Starfield.
I got some future plans for some elite dangerous ships.
You could pull off the entire lakon line pretty easy

I've a similar build, but I would suggest a Taiyo cockpit instead of the Stroud one - the Taiyo cockpit actually has the capability to attach a hab UNDERNEATH the bottom part of the unit, so there's no need to glitch it. Other than that, another excellent build!
Not to mention its more rounded off like the cockpit on the actual razorcrest
I actually can't get the Viking cockpit to snap on for some reason🤷
@@ninjapirate83 you have to glitch it by merging two incompatible parts. He shows you how to do it in the video.
Awesome build and well made tutorial! Most others zoom through and hardly do anything cinematic once completed. Loving the format. 🤘
By far the best ship building tutorial on the inter webs kind sir. I bet you could construct an amazing looking Ghost ship from Star Wars Rebels.
Your builds are so much higher quality than every other video I've seen. Currently building the Battlecruiser for my Pirate Character. Gonna have to create a Bountyhunter for this bad boy 👌🏼

I would like to make one Editorial input. If you get The Crimson Fleet Habs that are on the creations (I know it’s $5 but trust it’s worth it) install those for the habs for the Razor Crest. It definitely gives that Bounty Hunter feel, plus the lights turn on and off. Off when you leave the Hab and on when you enter. Totally worth it! The middle Hab in this build replace the 2X1 with a 3x1 living quarters it’s extremely easy to build plus just trust me it looks cool

Just built this. Not much Cargo (as much as the Falcon that is), but all in all, very impressed. Had to take some civil liberties, because I was unable to "clip build" on my PC. Had to use the Daimyo Enhanced cockpit instead.
FYI, there's a 2x1 Armory (Nova Galactic I think) that has a brig/holding cell that's a bit more immersive for a bounty hunter ship. I think Taiyo has one too.
Hopetech 2x1 armory, the Nova armory just has 2 sections for the armory, one with cases and the other has wall slots
Looks damn good. I might've gone with the Taiyo cockpit for that more rounded off look like the cockpit has on the show but otherwise its picture perfect. I'd love to see you do the Nostromo from Alien at some point. Keep up the good work!

your starfield ship build is the best i've ever seen
This IMO is the best Razorcrest build I have seen. I have however made some modifications to the build to make it look better and added additional weapons to make it a more viable ship and also hid them to keep aesthetics intact. For example I used a tolerance mod that allowed me to hide a secondary laser in the engine along with a missile launcher so basically the weapons are hidden but they appear to be shooting out of the holes in the front engine caps, missiles look like they shoot out of the engine braking hole section.
To avoid the issue with the 1x1 not attaching to the underside of the cockpit instead of using a Stroud cockpit use a Taiyo samurai cockpit with a 1x1 behind it and you'll have no problem with it.
Best builds I've seen! Would love to see you build Jaster's Legacy from Bounty Hunter or The Outrider from Shadows of the empire.

Something I didn't realize until searching each part I could not find individually on google is that if you want the specific parts used here. Starfield has levelled loot at vendors, which means all the parts mentioned in this video won't be available until level 50 in game and a few have the Starship Design (Rank 4) requirement as well. 500T HE3 fuel tank, Nova 1050 engines, Aurora 13g Grav Drive, Ion Beam H-1030 Reactor, Polo 2020 Cargo Hold & Osiris 2040-B shield generator are the list of parts I was unable to find. Some unlock earlier than others, but I figured I would post this and the list of specific parts for anyone trying to build this at anything lower than level 22. Great build otherwise, would have loved a more in depth info dump somewhere though. No hate, just an idea for next time or a sticky for the comments or description on videos in the future! :)
Had no idea about the glitch to get modules to fit under that cockpit. Brilliant build.
I think the Hope Tech or Deimos habs would be a better option for interior esthetics.. (they have that darker grittier tone)

Edit* I think Hope Tech and Stroud are the best for gritty/not so bright. 👌 (Haven’t had the chance to see every hab yet but Deimos is deceiving from the outside from what I’ve seen) 😂

If I might be so bold, a bit of a request? Not so much on this build, but on the bigger ones that have a lot of interior space - it'd be really nice if you did a walking tour of the interior, instead of the slow pans of each room. That'd give a feel for the "flow" of the space, instead of just seeing what the modules look like. Appreciate that might throw off your videos' aesthetic so not a big deal!
I'm a new subscriber but I'm loving all the ship builds. I would love to see someone try some Stargate ships, like the Prometheus, or some of the Asgard or Go'auld ships. Anyway keep up the amazing work

If you glitch some parts the ship can be more smaller.
I try to stay away from the glitch as much as possible, but their are some instances that absolutely need it to get the look I'm going for.
Instead of the 1x1 + slim docker, just use the regular full size deimos docker. Unlike the nova one you can flip the deimos. Makes the interior a bit cleaner imo.

thx for this! i wish there was some sort of "spaceship designer" thing where i can preview/design with every available part and then i can see which part i actually need so i can go hunt them down. rather than go somewhere and then find out none of the parts there are what i want

Instead of the deimos hull and stroud mid bracer that's between the engines you can use a stroud cowling 1la-pt on top and the galleon s202 cargo hold on bottom to give a more rounded look.
I like this ship, I think it's the closest one to the razorcrest of all the ones I've seen, its the one I use for bounty hunting... However those engines while looking more like The ones from the show, are garbage.
You can replace them with pairs of Slayton engines (which look close enough to correct) from hopetown gain almost triple the thrust, to turn a ship that is kind of a dog to fly into something hot.
Also, you can stick a pair of particle beams on the nose where they go, then tuck another pair and suppressors up under the wings kind of hidden, which give it the correct look and enough firepower to win fights.

Really cool. Been talking a lot of ideas from your builds to design my ships! I have tried several times to make the Ramrod Equalizer Unit from the 1987 series Saber Rider and the Star Sheriffs but I'm unable to come anywhere close to it. It's my all time favorite spaceship both in design and colorway.
Awesome Build man! Right now Im trying to build the Viper from Elite Dangerous and the Mandalorian Starfighter from Star Wars.
The only thing I would change is replacing the ballistic weapons with particale weapon versions other than that awesome build.

Very nice build. I will build that for myself. But i think i swap out the canons for particle canons otherwise i think you don't do much damage to shields.
This game really needs to add a way to save our ships schematics so we can remake them when we go into NG+ without having to redo then from scratch once we have the money to make them again because the Starborn ships we get in NG+ is far too underwhelming outside of it maneuverability and I switch to pretty much any other ship as soon as I can since you can't upgrade it and it weapon systems are far too weak to handle anything even early in NG+....

Any thoughts towards trying your hand at creating an Arquitens class Light Cruiser from Star Wars? I imagine of all the star destroyer style ships, that would be the most doable with the size constraints and model limitations.
i wasnt able to glitch the hab underneath the cockpit :( had to use a smaller cockpick, definitely doesnt look as good. but my god what a 10/10 guide! im on pc btw...
I’ve been thinking of making the Blue Eyes Jet Dragon from Yu-gi-oh. Pretty silly idea but trying to making a gameplay viable children’s toy dragon in space just seems fun.

Got a challenge for you; what about a Mandalorian Gauntlet starfighter? Tried it myself, but it just ended up being so horrendously blocky looking even with the Stroud-Ekland decorative pieces. Wish Starfield had more streamlined ship parts.

Shame we can't see the speed and mobility numbers of this. Found it at 0:12 where it is 66 mobility. I know it's mostly about the look, and this is the best looking one I've seen, but want to make sure it's agile.

I've been working on bringing some of the ships from Homeworld to Starfield. They have a somewhat grounded design and so far I've made a corvette looking vessel but I really wanted to go for a frigate or interceptor design. Fancy the challenge?

For those asking, I think I spent around 200k on mine... But you can easily spend 300 K or more depending on the reactor/ drive and guns you want to use
