- Pastor Jack Hibbs reminds the Christian that even the biblical heroes in the faith like Moses, Job, Elijah, David, Jeremiah and Paul suffered hopelessness, grief and depression in their lifetime, but God was faithful to see them through it. Through the darkness and deep sadness of some of these stories, we learn that the Lord met them in every situation and showed Himself to be a very present help in time of need.

Wow Jack, powerful sermon and powerful statement when you spoke of the blood of soilders to help their brother on the battlefield and how that is with Jesus giving his blood for us!!! thank you Lord for reminding me and all that hear this that the greatest and most faithful before us also struggled with depression. i feel a lot of guilt for my depression.
This is an excellent sermon for anyone struggling with attacks from the enemy or going through depression.

Correct me if I'm wrong, but did he just say that the law was created for the rightheous not the unrightheous? Isn't it the other way around? The law was created for the unrightheous not the rightheous as in the rightheousness of God.
