TY for the video, I had some jack off in walmart parking lot rip off my lower grille plastic piece, whoever left the two screws on the end just broke off the piece, your video you called them screws on the end, so is good to see what I have to deal with, only I can't access those without taking whole bumper off looks like, wth
Sorry that happened to you. Unfortunately you will have to remove the bumper to replace the lower grill. There will be bunch of plastic clips that you will have to push out to release the grill. That is usually a pain
@@QuiteAlright Thank you, when whoever ripped it off they broke the passenger side longer screw on the end and every clip to the driverside and ripped that off, leaving just the screw and part of the plastic hanging from bumper, I couldn't find a junk yard in my area to maybe get a new one so I have used JB weld on the middle 4 clips and they are holding great, weather has been bad to try and remove bumper to get the screw pieces out. Those cheap plastic grille pieces are from $86 to $234 each, now that's a joke.
have a new bumper that is almost back on. can't get the sides to snap back in. Is the black plastic a 'spacer' between the bumper and fender? Would think the bumper tabs go in the black plastic so the bumper is not touching the fender. What can be used to smack it into place?
You should be able to get them at any car part store or auto body supplies store. Some hardware stores will have them as well. Or just google bumper retainer clips and get them online on amazon
Uhh sorry I don't remember. I made this video last summer. Grill is usually attached to bumper by plastic clips which pull out, but like to brake. There might be some screws as well
I've never done it, but yes it should be. 10-12 version is just a facelift on the 09 version. I wouldn't be surprised if all screws are in the same spot

black plastic should be bumper mounting bracket. It should snap in, I usually just tap it back in with my fist

Local salvage. If I recall new ones are quite expensive

What size are those plastic bolts? I have metal on mine not plastic...
Those are plastic trim screws. They just pop out. Metal should be easier to remove as these plastic ones can get really stubborn

How to remove the one from the sides the 3 close to the wheels
those are plastic trim screws. Middle piece pops out. These can be a challenge to remove sometimes
