Does anyone know if there is a transferzone in MCA ?
I have a ticket going from Amsterdam to Cagayan de Oro with a transfer in (Shanghai and) Cebu.
I wonder if I have to pass passportcontrol and need to check-in again in Cebu.

Because it is not yet included in your ticket all aiports has terminal fee but it is already included in your ticket but since Mactan cebu is still under transition they need quick money.

I was there 4 days ago to pick up my daughter flying in from Singapore. There are ONLY 250 car spaces for BOTH Terminal 1 and 2. We drove around for over 90 minutes to find a car park and ended up parking in the Waterfront Hotel after buying a coffee in their coffee shop. We then walked back to Terminal 2 and the security REFUSED to let my wife and I inside because we wern't passengers. I told them ''I've been all over the world and never had to wait outside a terminal in the heat, snow or pollution and this is billed as a ''world class resort hotel''.
They boast of their imported wood from Austria and their imported moss from Italy to try and keep the toilets smelling fresh but they have FORGOTTEN ABOUT CUSTOMER SERVICE for the passengers and their waiting families forced to wait a long time outside in the heat and pollution with almost NO CHAIRS to sit on.
My daughter said there was no place to buy a Philippines SIM card so she couldn't text us and she was looking for us INSIDE as she also never dreamed we would have to wait outside in the elements. So next time we will have to leave our car at home and travel all the way there by a taxi.
Such a shame and disgrace that the planners and engineers didn't at least visit one airport in the USA, Australia or Europe or even in Changi, Incheon or Osaka to see how a terminal operates for everyone and not just for the working staff. As usual there isn't any customer service.

Taekook Addicted. I asked them will we ever be allowed inside to eat at a restaurant and wait for our loved ones and was told NO, it will be just like Terminal 1 where you must wait outside unless you have an international ticket.
it's not actually unusual in most airports in the philippines..... i'm not sure with other airports but Davao, Mactan and and Iloilo are the same.... one reason is for security purposes... i cant remember if clark and Naia was also like that, but most airports in the Phils are like that.... when came to Thailand and Singapore, i was so surprised that everyone is allowed to enter the airport until the check-in... i believe that policy in Pinas is also for your safety bro....
@@jbryana8005 Just literally returned today from Singapore & Australia. The Immigration line took me 70 minutes. The officer said there are 2 planes landed close to each. I told him the staff already know what time planes land & take off. So with about 600-700 passengers the airport staff would know that only 4 Immigration Dept Officers couldn't cope with the large influx. I could see the first time tourists were unhappy, as you'd never be held up like that in Changi in Singapore, Incheon in Korea or Kansai airport in Japan or even in my home town of Melbourne.
If you've been travelling you shouldve known how the ph airports operates. para lang talaga masabi na 'ive been all over the world'. Mehhh
