I just love feathers and beautiful things. My theme is a tree that is afraid of a forest fire so the Earth protects it. But after it sees that the fire is clearing dead things away and helping it to start over, it decides to let the magic fall away. With it comes a powerful change in the forest and instead of falling away and crashing, it takes it's place among the other elder trees and begins a new blossom. Soo...kind of complicated but I love it!!!

I love your message! It's so true. I grew up being told failure is not an option. Obviously, that mentality messed me up. The fear of failure has kept me from so much. Now I try to lean into it and embrace it. It is always lovely to have that friendly reminder, that it's ok to fail, but more importantly it's best of you try because what if you succceed?
Loved the elegance and simplicity of the feather also the touch of colour added in the monthly spread and your milestones beautiful !

This month's theme of "Flight" is so perfect for my family--my daughter is going off to college for the first time this month. She is getting ready to spread her wings and fly the coop! We are so happy to see her being brave and doing this with such grace and strength!

OMG!!!!! This journal is my favorite favorite favorite of all the journals that you have done. The feathers just pop off the page. They have a sort of motion to them. I can't explain it. I love how you used a photo of Mykonos in your journal! And yes it is a very windy Greek island which means your feathers will be dancing around the wind once you are there! I actually went on vacation in the island of Tinos, right opposite Mykonos and the air was very strong almost every day! ^_^ Lovely journal artwork and thank you for reminding of the fun I had in my time off!
What a great way to spend 10 minutes. This video really resonated with me as I am having a pretty hectic summer work-wise as well. It is nice to know that we're all in this together and hear your motivating words. Your illustrations are as always beautiful!

Gosh i love your video. I usually don't really like bullet journals that have collage stuff in it because from what i've seen they are usually way too filled but i love how minimalist it is and how beautiful your spreads are. Plus your voice is so calming!! I had been watching videos for a few hours today and working on a project for work at the same time and to be honest i felt very hyperactive and jumpy but watching your video has just calmed me down so much. I'm so grateful for that thank you :)

Hi Christine, thank you so much for this video. I was feeling so tired and desmotivated for this next month, because there's a lot trouble happening with university and my health, and money problems. I was feeling that it would be a waste of time to try doing anything, but your vid really made me a little more confident that I'll be able to deal with all that is happening. You are a inspiration for me, and I'm so glad that you're keeping with your good work and following your dreams.
And for the next month I think it could be a party theme, where all your creations come to a beautiful place to celebrate 😊

Great choice with the Erin Hanson quote, it's one of my favourites and she is such a lovely person as well. One of my friends contacted her personally and asked for permission to use that quote and she granted permission provided she gave her credit 😊

I've had my bullet journal since February but not been confident enough to start using it. Inside I have a creative side but getting that on paper seems hopeless for me. I love how your bullet journaling is minimalistic and not too crowded. I really want to know if any thick paper is okay for doing watercolours or is there a specific kind on which you do your watercolours. I loved this months spread and have been recreating your spreads almost since you started journaling. Nice to see how much your drawing has changed over the years. Love you!
