I absolutely love Miracle, it's still one of my favorites of theirs. The beat is so cool and the melody and those spooky sounding keys near the beginning just scratch an itch in my brain. Eric's reaction was priceless! I would have loved to see this one live when I saw them in February but they did have a remix of it play during a short break which was really cool too (and which I hope will be on the TDOPOM deluxe album).

More Bad Omens! My 13yo daughter introduced me to them with Just Pretend, and I'm loving the rabbithole. DoPoM is incredible, Like a Villain's emo angst reminds me of my own teenage years. I love how Noah so effortlessly take his voice from near ethereal or angelic qualities to "I'LL SEE YOUR FACE IN THE FIRE, and burn it off". And the flowy nature of Concrete Jungle, and the Linkin Park-esque Nowhere to Go take me back 20 years while still feeling here and now. Really liking the subtleties of their music.

Bad Omens by far my favorite band and this album was insane. I went to see them 3 times this past year and they are one of the few bands that sound almost better live than on the album. They put on an amazing show If you have the chance to see them they are a must!!
The next album is either total chaos searching for the "miracle" or the discovery of it and realising it is far from the perfect change but hard fkg work but with perspective and honest introspection. Either way, it's going to be raw and beautiful af.
