Emirates Business Class in the B777 is one of the worst in the whole world, it is not only the 2-3-2 configuration , it is these awful angled flat beds which you can only find on third world airlines. Even Lufthansa banned these angled flat beds in 2014.
Yeah that's true, angled flat beds are horrible if you compare them to comfortable 180° lie flat beds 😁 I really hope that Emirates will refurbish their 777-cabins with modern seats in a 1-2-1 configuration. But the service on board was incredible good and the crew was so friendly 👍

Thank you so much 😊 Yeah, the service and crew was great but the cabin is really outdated and I hope they will change it to a modern 1-2-1 configuration 😁 The upgrade was around 600€ oneway 🥂
A very comprehensive trip report, thank you. I'm really shocked at how outdated the Emirates business class product is on this route- no lie flat bed, no direct aisle access from every seat and all courses served on one meal tray. I would have hated to have a seatmate in business class on this flight. It looked like a light load in business class on this flight- is this due to lack of demand or are passengers choosing the superior options of Etihad, Qatar or Beond? Hope you enjoyed your vacation.
Thanks a lot 😊 Yeah I was so lucky that I had no seatmate, otherwise it’s not so comfortable if it’s a stranger 😁 The meal on one tray was just because of the flight time and it’s still much better than a short European business flight. Emirates offers in all of their 777s this strange 2-3-2 configuration, even their new Business seat is in this configuration. Just their A380 offers currently a 1-2-1 configuration.. hopefully I get the chance to try it also :) I really enjoyed my vacation, the Maldives are a great place :) Thank you so much for all of your comments and hopefully of a great 2024 🥂
