On round two, your first move you made by sending an agent on Contract was pretty weak compared to sending an agent on Selective breeding : (with the same cost in spice) trash the Assassination mission' card you've just bought the previous revelation turn (nicely waiting in your discard pile), cash in 4 solaris (now 8 in bank) + 2 cards to replenish your hand, plus a Bene bump, and go for swordmaster the next move with a better hand and surely a better persuasion score than a pity 2 at the end...
    Isn't that nice for just - 2 solaris ? =)

Hey, yeah I missed that one. It would have been a strong move.

Thanks! It's crazy how long it takes me to edit those things together haha. Fun though.

Wow, close game! Love your content but there is one thing that really triggers me every time: The Dune people are pronounced "Fremmen" and not "Free-men". Keep it up!

Glad you're enjoying the videos! Haha, yeah unfortunately that's what happens when there are made-up words in books - people are going to pronounce them differently. I understand how you feel, I used to get really annoyed when people pronounced the names of Magic cards differently than I did. :)

competitively memnon is not very strong. Typically beast, baron and helena are the strongest in base game

That might be true on average in certain competitve environments, but it doesn't mean it's true for every individual player in every circumstance. It's also important to play to your strengths, and I was feeling very comfortable and doing well with Memnon at this point so it made sense for me to stick with him. It's also not clear how the War Chest rule would affect relative leader power without having a lot more data.

@@bludgeontvoh yeah of course, memnon can have his days in the sun, but purely from an objective standpoint he is considered to be one of the weakest leaders. If you enjoy playing him though more power to you!

    Isn't it pronounced "high-liner"

It's interesting, in English there is a word "high-line" or "highliner" which apparently refers to a successful fisherman.
Frank Herbert uses the word "heighliner" which he seems to have made up, as there are only Dune-related results when googling it. Given that, it's up to the reader how they pronounce it. To me, "heigh" having the same structure as "weigh" and "sleigh" comes out as "hey".
I don't know how they say it in any of the movies or shows, or even how Herbert himself said it, but as with anything that comes from a book there will always be multiple pronunciations out there.
