Why do I have a feeling that the next gcmv will be "See you later (even if it takes 10 years)". That would be the best song for a part 2, cuz it starts right where we left off, a promise being made to wait and the person happily waiting for them until their available. You can even put your own spin on that and make it sad or unpredictable in a way. Who knows, maybe this idea inspired you and I'll see a notification pop up next months XD
