What killed me was every week they released "new" pics of this guy. No, these are old pictures that should have been released all at one time. This is why gun laws are such a touchy subject. There are people like this that need to be shot on sight. It’s one thing losing a child, but this mother lost all her babies at the same time. I can’t imagine her grief. Sending love to this family from NYC 🙏🏿

All the good officers left office due to the media demonizing police and the "Defund the police" rhetoric from politicians! These DA's are far-left radicals who refuse to prosecute repeat violent criminals! Why would police stay if they are constantly demonized for doing their job... so now there are few good cops left only lazy weak cops who are not willing to risk their life then end up in prison because they had to shoot a criminal trying to actively kill people!

    Who let the Dog out?
Texas official's have a lot of answering to do. This whole situation was handled very badly. How did he escape from shackles and handcuffs, and saw thru a metal cage? Why haven't we seen inside the bus yet? Why didn't the cop's standing beside the road when he was spotted running thru the field, and told so by some good citizen's, run after him shooting? They just stood there, and said " yea we know"! Are you frickin kidding me! The police said they " cleared " the house, or cabin, several times, did that mean, they went inside the house, surely so, and if so, why didn't they remove the gun's for safety reasons, and tell the homeowner? There were people that lived in the area, that stated, they were under the impression he had escaped that area, and moved on. Did the police tell them this? If the police thought he was still in the very same area, why did they even allow a Grandfather and his four Grandsons back in that very same area? This whole situation pisses me off it was handled so poorly and resulted in an innocent, wonderful family being murdered.

The first thing an escapee running away into the woods especially in hot humid texas is looking for is cover, food and water. There was no river close by where he could get drinking water from, there were no edible fruits or anything to eat in the woods, so the first place he would look for water and food is in some ones house. They created a perimeter as soon as he escaped, knew which direction he was running towards so the perimeter pretty much surrounded him.
Next was to search for any physical structures where he could hide, the only physical structures in those woods where he could possibly be is peoples homes, holiday, weekend or vacation homes, deer hunting structures and the focus should have been there.
Check every ones house if no one answers the door find out from neighbours who lives there and check on them to make sure they are ok incase its a hostage taking.
Houses that are temporarily occupied like vacation homes should be searched outside and inside for any breakage like windows, doors, inside searches should be accompanied with blood hounds who would detect his scent to determine had he been in any house, owners contacted if the authorities can not get access into the homes and let them know of the situation and would like to search inside the homes. Pretty much if this was done, that would have been it and lives saved.

Years ago I was helping a friend move into a home next to an Oklahoma prison. He was a prison guard and got free rent, but the trade off for the free rent meant he was on call, and if a prisoner escaped, he would be called to chase him down and do an apprehension. While we were moving in his furniture, we heard the bloodhounds barking and tracking down an escapee. He said prisoners escape all the time, but the corrections department doesn't inform the media, because it makes them look bad. It's probably the same reason that the public wasn't notified of this escaped murderer in Texas. You'd think there would be laws requiring the public to be notified through the media about escaped convicts.

I know I will get a lot of heat on this but I honestly think that Dog the bounty hunter is one of the best in bounty hunters in America, he's never afraid to speak his mind at all.. He even said himself that the cops didn't do their job once again the Texas police department failed to serve and protect like they are suppose to, they didn't even try to go after him when he was seen running in the field, maybe that family of 5 would still be alive today if they would of just did their jobs in the first place.. what is honestly going on with the police department down there. And how did he get out of cuffs and shackles in the first place that is really hard to do, and why didn't the officers who were with all those inmates not try and stop him they all had guns and they all missed when they were shooting at him when he escaped, there is definitely more to the story that we are not being told that's for sure..
Dog the bounty hunter has caught some of the worse criminals so he knows how they think and act, law enforcement should be taking tips from him they really should.. but like I said that is my take on him and everyone is untitled to their own thoughts on him and that is mine, maybe Texas law enforcement should of brought him in to catch this guy in the first place because Dog and his team would of caught him quicker than the cops did and maybe that family would still be alive today.. hate him or love him Dog always got the job done right the first time.. l know i am going to probably get shit but it is my opinion of Dog. • @rezkinginternational

First of all the Texan prison system has the most vulnerable transportation system. That would have never happened in California, or the Federal system, they are locked down tight, and the guards are wide awake, and on their job. With loaded weapons front and back. Nope never gonna happen in California or the Feds. Those Texas buses are just school buses, with bars, and screens on them, with apparently half awake guards. Texas needs to wake up period. Look at the Uvalde incident, the law enforcement very unprofessional.

    • @rezkinginternational

The Federal system when transporting killers, and high level inmates, you travel alone with highly trained guards, in unmarked vans feet clamped to the floor arms clamped to the chair. I understand all law enforcement agencies have to consider costs, but when transporting such a dangerous criminal, why couldn't they have a separate vehicle, with armed guards following the bus? Exceptional cases of danger and evil need greater measures of security.

It isn't just in criminal cases that the police aren't sharing critical, need-to-know information. A woman from my area northeast of Dallas disappeared, but the police didn't say anything to anybody for almost two weeks! As I recall, it was ten days after the woman was last seen on video cameras walking down the street that the police released a notice, asking for the public's help finding her. Even then, they didn't give much information. When I eventually got the location where she was seen walking--I think it was another two weeks before the police released that information--I was able to map out where she probably was. I figured she had a good chance of being found in a pond near her route. It took a year before they found her body... in a pond in that area. If the police had been forthcoming, I would have helped search for her. I've done it before, on other incidents. This time, I didn't even bother. What's the point, when you can't even give a description of what happened for weeks afterward?

I was worried sick for my family in Texas, but with no information, we were terrified for them & others. Just to know what's going on & to be able to trust police officers to do their job right would have made such a difference. And now five innocent people have been murdered. The one thing I disagree with Dog about is that contrary to what Dog says, the police are responsible for this. I hope there's an investigation & that this is never allowed to happen again. The TDC officials DID report out very early about this guy's history and that he had hid out before. That's why they suspected him to still be in the area. What is not clear is if the family killed knew that a neighbor had been broken into just a couple of days before, and there were other break-ins at weekend homes in the area. I don't think that was publicly known, though locals probably knew. Being from out of town, and this was a weekend home, they may not be in touch with neighbors up there to know. As far as bloodhounds tracking them, both bloodhounds and tracking hounds were used, but some of the brushy areas are so thick, even the dogs couldn't get through, and then rains came and washed any scent away. This property had been checked and cleared a couple of times. What surprised me is that he hadn't broken into that house and stolen that farm truck sooner. But the house is fairly close to the road, and there is a large iron front gate, so he couldn't quietly slip away in the truck.

It’s hard for me to believe that all five of them traveled from Houston to Leon County inside of that small pickup..that would’ve been a cramped ride.
That doesn’t make sense. It also surprises me that a family of hunters and fisherman wouldn’t have dogs with them.
