So I know at this roots the song is sad. But, as someone who's felt like this, the metaphor of potatoes feels helpful. Like, potatoes are bland, and on their own they're pretty flavorless. But there's so much you can do with them-french fries, mashing, boiling, baking, chopping, roasting, satueeing, so many delicious potatoe dishes! And because they're bland, you can add pretty much any kind of condiment and have it taste amazing. All in all, I conclude: Life can be burnt-out and boring, but remember, there are always new and exciting things to try.
