@@d4s0n282 Lots of african players with better mil ideas most likely, since there was a sokoto and a kilwa. He also didn't have morocco so not a lot of manpower. Portugal's early game is kinda weak otherwise.
@@Teebs131 cant he just totally focus on south africa early on though? and get tons of money and manpower that way or no?
@@d4s0n282 well you go into debt colonizing, especially if you can’t take that Moroccan goldmine. It’s better to focus on Brazil and setting up small outposts in west Africa before going south to Congo. Usually grabbing the Mali gold mines is good too.
This and the first video shows how if france leaves spain alone than spain will outscale everyone and become unstoppable

Hey, I'm playing as Hungary. I thought Austria was the PU master. Turns out its Hungary. Its 1475, I have Byzantium vassal, Poland PU, Lithuania PU, Bohemia PU. I will soon get Naples PU. What I don't understand is the Restoration of the Union of Austria. The Mission Weaken Austria is JANK. Its says "Austria does not exist." Why have that as a requisite to get a PU over Austria? It makes no sense whatsoever. The only other way is for them to have less than 13 provinces & a smaller army (easy... I released Tirol in a previous war) - How do I get them to not be Emperor though? I tried to Join the HRE with the mission. It was 40 pro me joining and 22 anti me joining and somehow it failed. Is it better to join or not to join? Should I break up the HRE? Or join and become leader? I'm guessing breaking it up is easier. I already beat all the HRE voters twice just to get the Bohemia PU. What doesn't make sense to me is the order of the missions. It would make more sense if the first requisite is to give you the restoration PU and then the next one being that they are not emperor of the HRE as making them a PU would get rid of them as Emperor. Advice?
