We started 2024s garden from our seed, in our sunroom. We finally planted the garden on June 14th - 15th! Our spring weather was cold, windy, and alot of hail. We knew warm weather was on its way. It's now August and the garden is growing, and preserving has begun. We share some great #pollination #tips that have worked for us over the years. Alittle road trip to the #stlawrenceriver in #cape vincent NY.

Hi Christallin! TY so much! When we have a few pieces of bread leftover we always make croutons. We like a crunch with our salad sometimes. Also you can put the croutons in the blender and make bread crumbs! We will post a community post when we figure out a good day! Hope to see you there our friend! TY for stopping by!

That's cool that you can pollinate the squash and gourds yourself, I don't know why I never thought about that. When will you be able to pick some corn to eat? @@JessieMillerUnboxingsandMore Hi Jessie! TY so much! Homemade jelly is amazing! Definitely worth a try. One of our recipes is alittle sweeter, we like it better for desert making, like jelly donuts! Our corn usually is ready in September. We are just seeing small cobs now! So exciting! The bees are very helpful, but insuring you have a good crop, only takes a few minutes and worth the time, in our opinion. Jessie one of our tomatoes is turning red! It won't be long, and Jason and I can eat fresh tomatoes! We appreciate you stopping by! See you later at your premiere!

Gotta have that slow down time to relax and enjoy once in a while. I'm a bit of a Hypocrite bc I don't do enough of that! As I've probably said before I love gardening! The croutons look great! Beautiful sunset. Good info about pollinating squash and gourds. We have a couple, or a few birdhouse gourds growing, but they are small. 😞 Maybe I should water them more. It’s been dry here. I’m curious about your rope system for your garden. Seems like you had some strong winds during that rain. It gets windy here in Missouri sometimes. You have such a great variety of plants growing. Cool video. Full watch. Be well. - Colin
Hi Colin! Sorry it's still dry there, yes watering is important lol Gourds are so fun to grow! We are giving some birdhouses away in our next live stream! The rope system works so well. We never worry about plants falling over. Glad you liked the tips! We appreciate you stopping by!
