The normal bass he uses can be learned if you try to stretch a sound you make when cough in order to clear your throat. When you do that it engages your false vocal chords. After you are comfortable with that, you can start including your normal chords to create that Louis Armstrong type sound. Learning to do this safely takes a long time. If it starts to hurt take a break with some hot drink.
The sub-bass seems like a super low liproll he does with his bottom lip as loose as possible.

the liproll is the tounge liproll which is the inward liproll but bring the tounge close too the open
