It really is! They did Lon Chaney Sr.'s Phantom of the Opera, of course, and Professor Burke from London After Midnight is up next! Maybe the Golem is a possibility. Thanks for watching the video!
Thanks for the great review, Tim! It's so cool to see Orlok next to Bela's Dracula. Add in the upcoming Horror of Dracula release and you'll have an "ultimate" vampire shelf! And I agree that this version of Orlok also works as a "black and white" version, given the sepia tone of the movie.
Now THAT would be awesome! I'm sure we'll find out for sure once the major conventions start up again! Seems to make sense since they take on modern horror films ("Thanksgiving"). Thanks for watching the video!
in the film the face inspired fear and disgust. In this figure, he makes you "laugh" in all the expressions that Neca has inserted. It is comical and almost cheerful. The "alternative" version created by Mezco is much better.
Oooh. That's a tough question. Both are expertly sculpted and I love the accessories for each. Short answer: I love them both! From a personal standpoint, I'm a huge Lugosi fan, so a slight tip of the cap to Dracula, character-wise. Thanks for watching the video!
Hes awesome & he's the goat 🐐 of Count Orlocks because hes Max Shreck but , the Mezco Orlock looks the creepiest & coolest by far wether its the cheap made figure from 2000 or the newer one that costs 450$ & comes in the lunchbox that is interchangeable just like this one ❤ I love that this one comes with the house dead & the bottle & the quil & ink !!!!! The items that come with these Nosfuratu figures are so beautiful!!!
great review ...you are definitely ahead of the game this is the first review I have seen. and that makes that worth a sub. Great Job. Great Value for the money this will go perfect with my phantom of the Opera.
Thank you! I appreciate the kind words and am lucky enough to get this review sample when I did! Thanks so much for subscribing and please spread the word about my reviews! Much, much more to come! Cheers!
Great review. Neca Ultimate’s are getting too expensive. My local Toys R Us have them for $64.99 Canadian. Very expensive for a figure and takes out the enjoyment of collecting unfortunately.
@@TimLammersFilms I mostly display my figures open, I Just can't resist taking them out of the packaging and posing them, unless it's something rare, if I'm lucky to find it in mint conditions. Anyways, great work with the review, and thanks for the reply :)
Thanks for watching the video! Yes, this considered the color version and a viewer of the video said a black and white version is being released, although I have not seen any order information on it yet. I hope there is!
@@TimLammersFilms I just noticed that Neca will be releasing a black and white version. I prefer it. However, I'm also undecided whether to buy this one in color. It depends on whether the two figures will have different accessories. For example, the color version of the mummy is the same as the black and white one, however for Bela Lugosi, the figures have some things different.
@@francescomazzotta3273 That's a great point about the accessories. It was cool that the Dracula Carfax B&W version had Dracula's top hat, cane, white gloved hands, etc. The more accessories the better! Thanks again for commenting and watching the video!
I can't wait to get the NECA one to compare with my SUper7. So far I like Super7 has a bit of a wash on the head and the eyes look a bit more flat that resembles the movie more than NECA. TO be fair, NECA is a smaller company with different standards than Hasbro. For one thing NECA uses cheaper plastic so they can include more accessories. NECA also uses cheaper factories to get things done. It's hard to compare value that way.
Thanks for watching the video and I'll have to look for a video to see what Super7's looks like. Hasbro -- Charging $32.99 for a Boba Fett figure with its only accessory being a backpack is extreme. The only figures they've produced that have been worth the price are the ones in the "Indiana Jones" Adventure series because of the accessories and the build an artifact. stuff. That was a great concept I'd like to see more of from them.
@@TimLammersFilms In some ways, we don't know how much costs Hasbro is taking because of a wide arange of factors including Disney license. I think Disney is asking for more money now. Anyways. At the end of the day it's up to the customers to see if it's something they want to spend money on. Companies can only do what they think is right to do business. Including setting the price point. Because for example, last year or 2022. Hasbro jacked up the price for whatever reason with Marvel Legends figures that has the Spiderman 60 years logo.
I do like the Super7 head sculpt, but the body is too smooth and shiny (a fairly common Super7 issue) and the body proportions seem off...almost cartoonish.
@@yauyuso That's very true. Licensing has to be really spendy -- especially "Star Wars" -- and since that's taken a hit in popularity it cost a lot of people jobs. Still, they can't be shorting the consumers because they made and continue to make the company y viable to begin with. Thanks for your observations!
@@jamesoblivion From what I've seen with other videos of the Super7 Count Orlok I get what you mean. You'll really enjoy this figure when you get it. Thanks for watching the video!
It’s great that Neca is creating Horror figures from the silent era. Hopefully we will see The Golem in the near future.

The letter is occult symbols written by knock for Orlock.
Thanks for watching the video and clarifying!
@TimLammersFilms the producer/ production designer of the film was into the occult. 👍
