Chinese painting tutorial: chrysanthemum 基本國畫菊花畫法

In this video, Ming Jan 老師 will go over the basic Chinese painting brushstrokes for the chrysanthemum. Beginners welcome!

Raw rice paper 生宣紙
Paints 涂料:
Ink 墨盤
Carmine 洋紅
White 白色
Indigo 花青
Permanent yellow 藤黃
Compost green 石綠
Burnt sienna 赭石
Brushes 毛筆:
For flowers: Large orchid bamboo brush 大蘭竹
For leaves: Large combination brush 大長流
For details: Small wolf hair brush 小狼毫
Water bowl 水容器
Mixing plates 盤子
Optional: Inkstone 墨盤

Thank you for this video, I really enjoyed it. Lovely work. I would like to ask which type of paints you use - you mention the colours but I am unsure if they are watercolours or acrylic inks. Please excuse my ignorance. 🥰
