Personally I love all the talk of the chiefs being geniuses for trading up to draft a fast WR. Yeah, let's see how that worked out for the teams that drafted.... Trindon Holliday, John Ross, Rondel Menendez, Darius heyward-bey, dri archer, Jerome Mathis, Henry ruggs, marquise Goodwin, jj Nelson, Mike Wallace, tyquan Thornton, Johnny Knox, Mike Thomas, parris campbell, Andy Isabella, Travis Benjamin, Chris owusu, Edmond gates, Deon butler, tiquan underwood, Carlos Francis, Santana moss, Rico Smith Curtis sameul and velus Jones. Those are the 28 WRs to run a 4:31 or better 40 time in the last 35 years.... I'd say, none of them were worth a first round grade. I mean, the best of the group are Santana moss who made his main cash as a returner and then Mike Wallace and Curtis sameul who both made or are making their money as #2 guys. The rest of the list is littered with guys out of the league just as fast as they ran. Yes, fast wrs can be good, but they all have other traits that set them apart. Look at worthy scouting report, doesn't fight through press, not efficient off the line, doesn't win contested catches, doesn't adjust to the ball...... That's a lot of red flags for a guy who's main selling pojnt is supposed to be speed
Yeah...they really "bullied" the Bills last year in Buffalo, when they played the Bills THIRD STRING/ PRACTICE SQUAD DEFENSE...and won by THREE points. The Bills beat the Chiefs EVERY YEAR...in KC. You're not much of a 'bully'...if the guy you're bullying kicks your ass every other fight.
Yeah, they really 'bullied' the Bills last year in KC when they lost, and cried, and whined about it, and again in Buffalo when they played the Bills THIRD STRING/ PRACTICE SQUAD, and won by THREE points. The Bills beat the Chiefs EVERY YEAR...in KC. You're not much of a 'bully', if the guy you're picking on kicks your ass every other fight 😂😂
@@randymccloud5743 That's cute, did you forget that regular season games only exist to decide the post season seedings. You don't get any silverware for beating KC if you go on to lose to them in the playoffs every single time. It is bullying if every time it's win or go home you end up being the team getting on the bus. Whining about injuries is just childish when you were the 2 seed and finally got KC at home. All that time Bills fans spent convincing themselves that KC could only win at home in the post season then you get turned over again despite your QB having an opportunity to kill the game on his final drive. The Chiefs have made 6 straight AFC championship games, 4 SBs and won 3 rings while the Bills have made a single, solitary AFC championship game. That doesn't look like a rivalry to me.
Why do people continue to say this? Worthy can actually run routes and has great lateral quickness. People just saw the 40 and was like “yep he’s a track guy”. Ross couldn’t run routes that well and didn’t have the lateral agility that worthy does. Edit: also I should add that Ross was only good his final year in college I believe. Worthy broke out his first year and produced every single year.
@@kev792 Bills fan here, ...but I think both Worthy and Coleman will find success. Ironically they will both be used in fairly similar roles (screens, short game, isolated go routes), and the only difference I see outside their trajectory would be that the Bills wanted a bigger sized "box you out" type of WR, whereas the Chiefs wanted a "take the top off a defense at all costs" type of receiver, and both landed their guy. Obviously we'll have top see how they both actually pan out, but I wouldn't be surprised if both ended the year in the 6-900 and 4-6 TD range or better. One thing for sure is both will see some plug and play use right off the bat. Going to be fun to watch my friends... And I think there's nothing wrong with admitting that the Bills got good draft capital as well as extra salary cap savings with the trade, all on a pick that KC might well have waited out on instead of jumping on so strong. But, hey, lol, who knows, if Worthy was their guy, and it's clear he WAS, lol, then the Chiefs can't really be blamed for moving up to secure him, I guess. Go 🦬🦬🦬!
@@seanguitarman5594 Yep I agree. Im particularly not a fan of the jump ball guys and am more of a route guy, but yea both can be great players. After that nuke that Allen launched in the air and Diggs didn’t catch it(after crying for the ball a lot), their minds were made up. Side-note, that throw was beautiful lol. Chiefs are fans of the burners and speed. Well, more-so Andy. Personally I would build the Wr Corp with all kinds of body types but Andy loves those speedsters/separators. Always have. In terms of the capital, from a top 100 pick standpoint it stung but from an overall draft standpoint the chiefs lost only a tiny bit. But I’d say the bills won. For the trade aspect, worthy in my opinion wouldn’t have lasted to 32. Ravens or Niners would’ve taken him. I think the Niners because they don’t have a burner. They got Pearsall instead. I LOVE Pearsall but not at that spot. I also might get a Keon jersey or something cause bro is hilarious 😂
@@kev792 You are right, I believe Buffalo moved up 60 spots in the KC trade and 30 in the CAR trade, which sounds like a real lot, but when it's in the middle to end of the draft it kind of loses some value. And I have to agree again, lol, I also want an offense with good size/speed balance, and I think Buffalo is closer to that sweet spot than before. "The Keon/Allen Connection" will be great entertainment, lol, I can feel it in my bones....
I'm fine with Coleman, like the pick. The issue I have is the Bills didn't get much to move 32 to 33, but they gave up the 5th year option on Coleman's rookie deal, which could be huge. Doesn't make much sense NGL.
I don't think it matters. 1st round rookies that end up being super successful rarely make it to that point anyway. Their contracts get renegotiated & they get extensions. Instead, the Bills got an entire extra player to contribute for multiple more years. Considering how much of a crapshoot the draft is, that's more valuable than an extra year you won't even use.
We didn't need another small receiver and guys who raise their draft stock by breaking 40 records almost never pan out or at the very least don't live up to their draft position.
I am more confused on not wanting to trade Diggs to the chiefs but are ok with letting them chiefs pick their favorite wide receiver??? It just feels like a dumb move
If you mean 'Chiefs' by "their" then yes, Bills couldn't really help who the person in the 28th spot would take, regardless of who it was, really. If you meant the 'Bills' by "their" then it was pretty clear they liked Coleman from day 1 and were not very interested in Worthy, or who might take him. Buffalo were clearly targeting Coleman around their spot, and then the way the draft rolled, they decided that they could afford to drop back a bit, and still recoup some draft capital and salary savings. I think we gained about 90 spots overall in the draft and still got our guy. I'd call that a success. Solid draft by Beane, imho
I don’t even understand the gripe with the trade down..no one let them take worthy..bills didn’t want worthy so we passed on him and moved back in order to move a later pick up into the top 100…are they supposed to draft worthy just to keep a him away🤔😂 we could’ve drafted Coleman with our original pic then everyone would have taken the same exact wrs they picked and we don’t advance the later pick like it’s not rocket science at all 😂😂😂

I know, I 'm digging the arrogance. Hopefully the future reflects kindly on Beane with this one. My opinion is the Bills had a very solid draft, getting multiple day one starters, filling all major needs, and adding quality depth. I'd bet money the feel the beat segment is influenced by Bob Does Sports during a drinking challenge lol
I get the feeling I could have a argument in the bills stadium and still walk away with a smile. Not like other places where I hope to get out alive 😂
Thats just good programming right there

I don’t dislike the Coleman pick or the trade backs. I strongly dislike the Bills didn’t draft another WR with the other 8 picks they used in one of the deepest drafts at the position in years. Bills have a deficit at WR and that’s an issue.
I thought the same thoughts as Beane on the whole trade thing if they didn't take worthy who knows if they wouldn't have traded with someone else or maybe he fell in there lap either way so why not pick up the extra picks
Or no one trades with them as expected the 49ers take him. Hope it was worth it to move up a few spots in the 3rd round and let other teams make your decision on what WR you get at number 33.

@@idawg7332 The chiefs also wanted CHE and sky moore. Believe it or not when it comes to offensive weapons they draft bust after bust. Also this mentality is retarded
You draft someone so the next guy can't. That would be simply stupid.
Beane is the man. Well loved here in the 716
Both teams are happy and got who they want. Scared worthy is the next John Ross, Jacoby Ford etc.
We needed a blocking receiver after losing Gabe Davis.
After watching Keon's run-blocking game film, I'm sincerely blown away. Guy lulls DB's to sleep, then bowls them over instantly on surprise run plays with his quickness and size, lol. Insanely fun to watch. I thought Gabe was really good, this kid is perfect to take up Gabe's presence
It’s simply a money move backing out of the first round, Stephan digs 30 mil cap hit
How can you not like this show with that intro
I was pissed after the trade but Coleman seems like a hilarious guy and brings good energy to the locker room, as well as being pretty good, it wasn’t a bad move imo
Nobody denies the move of trading back or even who they took, trading back and giving the Chiefs a player they clearly wanted is why its questioned.
@@dalehammers4425 well obviously. I don’t know why we traded with them of all teams. I think they were the only team that wanted to do that trade but I don’t like trading with KC

No doubt… traded back took him in round 2. … don’t have to pay rookie first round cash
You only trade back if you have a tier of players with a similar talent that will still be available. Meaning they had multiple guys they were willing to take when they traded back. Bean even said this in the interview

I feel like they were fine with the bigger body guy they ended up selecting. Which means, why not trade down for value. However, to make it easy for KC? Crazy!
That last part is the only complaint people have, not that they traded down, that made sense for them, you simply dont do it with the Chiefs.
But how big are the buffalo statues?
Thank you Bills for giving us Pat and now worthy!!!!!!!!! Also I was 👍 #3

I wasted my night for the first pick 😂😭, but day two was worth it 😂😂😂
Personally I love all the talk of the chiefs being geniuses for trading up to draft a fast WR.
Ima trust the team that traded up for mahomes and Mcduffie
Idk bro the last fast WR that the chiefs drafted worked out pretty well for them
Im excited for the oak hill episode!
I feel like the Bills have a humiliation fetish. The Chiefs bully them so much & they just take it 😂
Yeah...they really "bullied" the Bills last year in Buffalo, when they played the Bills THIRD STRING/ PRACTICE SQUAD DEFENSE...and won by THREE points.
I dont know what kinda things you’ve went through but Winning every other game isn’t bullying it’s going toe to toe with an equal opponent.
@@mathewjones8886 get off kc nuts you look bad

Thats my GM!
Worthy is gonna be John Ross 2.0
Lets all be honest, the Bills ended up with the better all around WR and got a IDL out of it
Absolutely agree. Worthy is too skinny. Him running fast isn’t impressive at that size
Keon is a physical freak and the bills wanted that guy who can pluck the ball from the air.
Considering how much of a crapshoot the draft is, that's more valuable than an extra year you won't even use.
.....the bills should have picked that guy 😂😂😂😂
According to YOU, a football savant?!
We didn't need another small receiver and guys who raise their draft stock by breaking 40 records almost never pan out or at the very least don't live up to their draft position.
Who else wants to see Xavier Worthy in the Wasp.
Beane just pulled the “Shut up idiots, we know more than you” lmao
They may know more than us, but they clearly dont know more than the Chiefs...
Go Bills ❤🩵💪🏈🦬
As someone who saw jrob lose his job when he traded aj brown. This off season will get this man fired. If they don't win it
I am more confused on not wanting to trade Diggs to the chiefs but are ok with letting them chiefs pick their favorite wide receiver???
Chiefs got your punt God too! Hahahahah! Innocent until PROVEN guilty needs to be the protocol.
Punt God is a major weapon!
If they need an elite punter that says a lot about them!

It could totally work out in the bills favor who knows, but the absolute arrogance to trade kc a pick that you know theyre using to move up for a super fast receiver is wild
I know, I 'm digging the arrogance. Hopefully the future reflects kindly on Beane with this one. My opinion is the Bills had a very solid draft, getting multiple day one starters, filling all major needs, and adding quality depth. Add in the saving draft capital and salary cap savings and I would argue Beane did fairly well this year. why trade Diggs to a fast rising Texans? Why trade any better pic (regardless who the pic was) to KC? Dodged these points.
