@@Gin-toki If you get hold of an old threaded axle, and some nuts. You could use a nut on each side of the half-bussing, but you would need half-bushing as spacer on each side of the worm gear. I believe the threaded axle only came in two lengths, the L4 and L10. I guess L4 would be too short, you would need the L10.
Number 5 is interesting. One could attach gears on BOTH sides, both axles would spin in same direction, but depending on which is powered one can change tooth rail direction!
The worm gear and half-bushing was interesting. I like the simplicity and compactness of the first gear rack support as these things tend to get oversized. Another gear somewhere for support and this would make for a good forklift design.
#6 hydraulic steering (pneumatic pump filled with water) One end of the cylinders would simply move back and forth, moving the rack, and the other cylinder would move back and forth via a servo motor which could be put anywhere in the vehicle because the flexible hose cables.
I think the fourth is the best also it should be a good way to Control a gearbox when there more is than one of these gearbox thinks (i dont no a better name for them) for something remotly controlt but all of them are realy good! (Sorry if i wrote something wrong english is not my nativ language and i'm still learning it)
Love your work. I have an idea for a motor construct that moves on 6 sides simultaneously. It's supposed to go inside a 10³ cube and attach to the loose 1x1 stud-based walls (held by a net) to move them back and forth about +/- 1 stud to create some mographic wave movement on each side of the cube. I have some ideas for the motor but can't get it down to size. Would love to see your ideas on that. 😉
How would I make a hero press one like this that a home made spin fan would stay spinning momentarily or epp to a timer Hoff spin IP on this type of gear on this video
I'm planning on rebuilding one of my MOCs soon, looseness in the steering is the one problems I'm wanting to fix. I have to use rubber bands to keep it from being loose and that causes it to crab walk slightly. It's independent front and rear steering so any steering play gets doubled. Does the "double" gear rack at the end have a lot of play/wiggle room? It looks a lot simpler than my current idea for a fix.
It hast unfortunately a bit more play than using the gear rack as it's supposed to. You can try it with a 24-tooth-gear, but I don't know if it has less play than the usual one.
That's the fun in Lego. I can make an escapement with an 8 minute run time using a pull back motor, but using the same parts to make a steering system that doesn't wobble is harder for me.
Great. May be you show a more complex unit when moving a unit in microns forward or backwards. This will be used in the photography to take several images with small steps. See under topic „focus stacking“ in the web.
1:41 is not legal, and the roblox tycoon music is why i put like on this video. and couse i love lego technic and the video is soo good, but ya know, the music its just epic
3:35 wow this one I did not expected
in my opinion the 4 was the most strange and interesting
It is a neat idea, however it has its limits of uses due to the half-bushing will slide over the axel under load.
@@Gin-toki yes
Agreed, would've never thought of that. Would work great with a new piece, like an axle with a built in bushing

Yes :)
There's already a 4 tooth gear.
Yeah i know there are the knob gear

Nr.4 could work as a great hidden locked door system...
until the half-bushing slides out of position, and you could get a jam-lock.

Please tell me what is better to shoot or what is interesting to the audience ? Thanks
For me short videos with ideas worked best, but that depends on the channel...
