The clock is running, gotta pile damage to increase bonus damage. 3rd (E) is.... think of it like channeling, but you can run around. THAT'S IT. Tapping it again makes it go boom. Getting interrupted makes it go boom. Can't Ult, 1st, or attack. BUT!!! You can 2nd. THIS IS KEY. While you're charging 3rd (just tap it, it's not a HOLD BUTTON ability), activate 2nd and GET IN THERE. Once 2nd and 3rd is done, you got choices. You can flash out, you can cast 1st, you can Stasis, etc. Now, 2nd is a great dodge/flip the table move on assassins and bruisers, since they like to get in your face, removing the need to even approach. Problem is it's got very long cooldown, so AWAKENED SOULSTEALER is a MUST. Also, I don't dive unless I got 2nd up. I also rarely use it to escape, though you can use it for that, because of the long cooldown. And since 3rd + 2nd requires you to dive, I also get Liandry's and that burning armor thingy (Sunfire? the one that does Immolate). Both also gives HP (which turn into bonus AP). First item is Rod of Ages though (even though all the mana stuff in it is useless). I use it for the 450HP and 120AP at full stacks. That's it. Not required though, but I like it. I don't really rely too much on 1st ability, I even rarely use the big heal (I should though). I prioritize maxing 2nd and 3rd to reduce 2nd cooldown since I rely on those to do the killing. 3rd is the one that is usually up first and is the most commonly use for me in every fight. I tried this in comp games, grasp of undying, the green line for second runes for hp runes, ROA, rift maker and deathcap....i had almost 5k hp. Early game sucks though
This makes so much more sense. Vlad's damage (not including empowered Q) in solo queue is pretty underwhelming, outside of teamfights or when you're already ahead. Seems like he mostly shines by being nigh unkillable and the damage only really comes in late to very late game

@@laugh8574 in my opinion, lucidity boots or magic boots, are very strong on Vlad Mag boots have insane AP amount for their cost imo, and additionaly they provide flat pen, which can be stacked up with other items At other side we have lucidity boots, which can be insane with Cosmic Drive, which has iirc, highest CD reduction And now lets think, AP+flatpen or CD reduction, which can help have pool on low CD, so you are non targetable VS armour/mag res If you want you can build semi tank after core, but imo, Vlad doesnt need high armour/mr, since he can just ignore all incoming damage and get healed up, more AP -> more heal, more mag pen -> higher damage, and more heal Thats like Aatrox mindset, why on pc and on mobile many times his core is flatpen+BC+Serylda? More damage, more healing, and abut if you arent ideal, then yeah, prob better to have some resists

Idk if Hells mentioned it, but you want to buffer your 1st ability while in pool, so you instantly use it as you come out.
The combo is to stack 1st, then Ult into 3rd and 2nd ability , then queue 1st ability to auto-cast , then you will have 3rd ability again usually
I have you on 1.5x speed and I felt like it still took you took long to get to your point.
