Aayla's death is easily one of the saddest in the entire Jedi order. She was someone who was genuinely good to her troops and treated them like they were worth something and not just expendables.
That's why they dumped all their ammo into her.They didn't want her to suffer so they made sure she's really 100% dead. Not like Neyo or Cody which just gave one or two sloppily aimed shots

Aayla, Bly and Quinlan Vos share a lot of comics, siege of Saulecomi for example. I recommend you try find them and give some of them a read, there are some interesting plots, characters and moments there.

It was good seeing Bly in S7 but it was kind've a waist that we didn't see him for five seasons. At least Commander Gree made two appearances in S1&S2. Which is jarring since we saw Bly in his EPIII phase II Armor in the final season yet we didn't see Gree in Phase II in TCW. At least Fireball and Nemec carried Gree's EPIII look in TBB S2. What do you you guys think of Commander Bly's scars appearances?
