A great way to make your beaches alive are to line them with invisible pedestrian paths soon after you get to see a bunch of sims enjoying a lovely stroll on the beach, you could also try using the hangout spaces but im not sure how those work.
Did you have to delete the beach one node at a time? The better bulldozer mod should be able to delete surfaces now
You can delete the beach to get one part and connect it to the other side making an invented v shape. It will delete the surface also a better bulldozer can delete it.
Also install unlimited demand mod if needed.
Another tip is to use sand decals from sully on the car roads that the roads look more integrated.

To cover up the beach transitions you need to use the associated stamps that come with the Sully pack for beaches. The stamps make the transitions seamless. Just use the stamps on spray mode for fast and varied coverage.
Outer banks, NC here. We have the wheelchairs you talked about as well that visitors can visit the local fire stations to pick up
I think building an airbase could help. Using a lot of industrial disguised as an air force base or military base would fit the theme as well.

U may need to build more industrial pockets... Like a few small clusters of industry between your new build and the city. Control the size of the industrial buildings so the smoke stacks dont appear. I call it "taking this game back to Sim City 4 style builds."
I hardly ever get to go to the beach, the closest I get is the shore of my local lake, albeit with a beautiful view of the nearby mount konocti
How about decals to blend the urban-beach area together?
Like I said under previous videos: Education, education, education! Build out a couple universities and start building offices and other amenities and you'll have Bixton-like demand in no time.

There is.
Usually not too necessary but it depends on whether you have all the zoning and education. You need some industrial and also the farms and mines.
You can get away with a highschool diploma in America? Now everything makes sense

You should try using the European style medium and high density buildings. They would fit better with the beach than the North American. They’re more colorful and less New York looking

btw the texture pack also comes with matching decals which are to help soften the transitions between surfaces

i think you need more industry ,farm industy is good for low incomes and low residential ,i notice this wen i play the game.,and regular industry to made the products.low commercil can boost it too.
Amazing video as always, but as a person from the Jersey Shore who has lived with beaches their whole life, a little comment is that the lifeguard chairs are normally MUCH closer to the water and are much more denser. I also recommend putting the chairs and umbrellas along the beach. Have a good day and can't wait for next episode!
You actually _can_ delete a whole surface area in one click (rather than having to remove umpteen dozen individual nodes) using the Better Bulldozer "Remove Area" toggle. Hopefully that will save you some time on the next beach! Looking really nice what you've done so far.
Still waiting for better textures and graphics mods that get you realistic looks. Still hate the graphics atm.

it does look great it's just sad you couldn't get a norfolk sand texture so the beach could be right.

You should add housing for college students by the college. Also attractions and hotels by the beach front as well as pedestrians crossings between the dead end streets with houses, so people will want to live there. Maybe also an office or two once demand is there for better paying jobs

I also recently had the problem where no one was really moving into the newly created neighborhood. It took a couple open/save/closes in a couple days to fix it. It also wasn't recognizing services I put down and assigned to the neighborhood. It was weird.

I'm in year 2031. And demand bars are all full. But you need education and then a good downtown area so that you have a variety of jobs.
