What an interesting concept and set of analogies! It's all total horse$h!t, of course, but still interesting! Retirement planning is not comprised of "life or death" decisions, at least not in this country. We all know lots of people who did absolutely no retirement planning, yet they are retired and doing their best to get by. They didn't die and they're still "living", to one extent or another. What you're doing is fear-mongering, and it's shameful. You're implying that hardly anyone could possibly educate themselves enough to effect their own retirement solution. You even imply they need to spend "10,000 hours" to master it. That's a terrible lie to tell people, but I suppose it's crucial to generating customers.
