Abdul Samad Al Qurashi is extremely underrated in the west. They have exceptional original blends. Qurashi Blend perfume is the best bergamot/rose/amber fragrance I’ve ever smelt.
I dont see many english reviews about oriental fragrance oils with that much of details. As an arab who speaks English as a second language and loves oriental oils, I find your content highly informative and unique, I am keen to see more reviews like this.
of you go to the middle east, they do fill the tola straight from their display containers. decided to check out ASQ the other day, and based on the color at least, it looks like they gave you the real deal. Greetings from Abu Dhabi
An aged oud scent leaves no room for doubt leave alone 150yrs old. If it is hindi and 150 yrs , it should smell very royal and turn sweet in time. A smell that cannot be forgotten.
Thank you! As an artisan perfumer and big fan of Ouds, I deal with the heavy-opening pungent Oud oils (like typical Assami) by encircling them with other, counter-balancing essences (mostly - refreshing top notes - to cover exactly those first raunchy couple of hours) to tame them enough not to offend but to intruige and excite nevertheless, like a mysterious alluring stranger at the mask ball.
Bro got the most expensive Oud from the Abdul Samad Al Qurashi house. No other perfumes/oils come close to it. Once you are into Oud oils, even the most expensive perfumes look synthetic
Welcome Kayden! You have arrived in the hard-core genre of Oud. Fermented, Aged Hindi, traditionally prepared just for the Arabian market. The rotten wood facets, the animal leather punch, all meld into a base of incense. It's truly magical!
I have a few of Oud oil from ASQ store in Toronto and yes they don’t label the bottles they just stickers the bottom of the box . I did visit ASQ stores in Saudi Arabia it’s the same products but in Saudi Arabia Oh man they carry Some Oud Oil it goes up to 20,000 US dollar for 12 ml.
Hello kayden, thanks for the amazing content. I already have 40 perfumes and i like ouds( easier ouds like shl oud777, b683 extrait and…), I bought Frederic malle promise(blindly) 2 months ago and I’m completely in love with it, it became my favorite scent and I would love a oudy, darker version of it, I’m thinking of blind buying the moon by FM, just wanted to ask for your opinion on this, do you think it is what I’m looking for and said above? And when i love promise, is moon in the same vibe and would i love it? Thanks, sorry for the long letter 😁
You are welcome. Jump on FM the Moon without hesitation. If you loved promise, the Moon will blow your mind. I have a perfume experience video on the Moon; feel free to check it out.
@@kaydencross thanks for the response, watched your review on it, it seems amazing, I will definitely buy it, I’ll comment on of your videos later to let you know how it turned out :) thanks again
Lol that’s like 5 - 7 swipes Major major projection for days lol. Anything ASQ over 50 years is heavy heavy heavy for the first 3-5 hrs before it undresses. I’m sure it’s amazing in a few hours indeed
Kayden, if you are looking for out and out Oud perfume, take a look at Ajmal Dahn Al Oudh Qadeem. Basically, matured Hindi Oud in a perfume concentration. Nuclear, “banyardy”, fecal or whatever that is synonym to Hindi Oud. Love it but will never be able to wear it out unless i want to make someone sick. 😂
My man’s on so many Roids he can’t even lift his arm up to his face 🤣
🤣
