Does cutting them small works? Ans spraying water on them? I really doubt that it would work. Also, with Cooperi won't they get all spoiled and die if we water them when they have been cut and the cut gets wet? I have some of them and I really want to know how to take care of them, because they are pricy here.
U can take 1 plants flower and make 50 from it or how many pieces get of of the stem,and how many propagate..I have 4 big platters full of propagation and yes u spritz them only on a hot day or u WILL ROT them everytime, Its not as easy as these ppl say, ive learned from alot of trial nd error. But nice to know all the lil secrets😂
@@neynahnehnah1485 I agree, but I'm in a different climate than this video was made in, that probably has something to do with it? But I always let my cutting scab over before doing anything. Also, I have not been misting my budding leaves, the momma leaves are still full and plump, with babies at the end, so altho they are on dirt, roots in dirt, I'm not watering them (it's so tempting, I grew up with big indoor house plants, it seemed like Mom was always watering them lol) until the momma leaf is dried up.
However, he must be doing it right, for his area and plants! I didn't know, cutting a leaf in half after she has already made a baby...did you see that!? The cut leaves made a second round of babies!

Usually I check if the leaves of my succulents are soft, squishy, and easy to move. Be careful not to break them, though. If they are firm, they are fine. If they are flimsy and very easy to move, they need water. You can also check if the leaves are looking wrinkled or sort of wilted. I bottom water by placing the pot in a container of water and leave them there for 5+ minutes and then call it good :)

Holaaa. Que maravilla la reproducción por hojas. Yo soy principiante y aún no he logrado como hacerlo bien. Tiene algún video en cuanto esto, por ejemplo al sustrato que debo poner, los riegos cada cuantos días, si van a medio sur en fin el paso a paso. Yo nas pongo en bandejas con el mismo sustrato de sembrar las y las mojo cuando veo el sustrato seco y las pocas que dan hijos donde tallo largo y pocas hojas y luego mueren. Hola Mercedes. Mi lengua materna es ingles, perdóname! hahaha. Pero hablando español desde tenía 7 años. Ojalá tenga algo de apoyo. Vivo en San Diego, California... yo no sé donde vives, pero quizás nuestro clima es similar? 😂💁♂ jaja, bueno; La mayoría de las plantas suculentas y bebés están en peligro por el exceso de agua. Si vives en México, USA, PR, etc., Home Depot es mejor para principiantes. Si tú compras cualquier bolsa de tierra que diga "mezcla de suculentas y cactus" o "cítricos y cactus" o "palma, cactus", y es adecuada. Siempre agrego mis propios ingredientes adicionales. Como perlita, arena y piedra pómez o roca volcánica (triturada) para un mayor drenaje. Las suculentas morirán rápidamente en tierra espesa rica en materia orgánica. Cuantas más rocas, más pequeñas grietas para que crezcan las raíces, mejor es.También es un riesgo quemarse con el sol... ¿Sabías que las suculentas y sus hojas pueden crecer en casi cualquier cosa? Siento que el suelo está demasiado húmedo a veces. Musgo Sphagnum, arena, perlita, vermiculita o una mezcla de todos. Incluso la cáscara de coco/fibra de coco es excelente. En este método, el agua se drenará rápidamente. por supuesto, la tierra es aceptable, ¡pero asegúrese de que se seque rápidamente! Yo lo e echo varias veces al principio cuando no sabía mucho como a serlo, y siempre se me pudrieron o dejaban de crecer y se secaban, ahora me espero una semana y le echo agua pero no la mojo le pongo agua a la tierra nomas porque también cuando las mojó se me echan a perder se mueren.

0:57. I swear I've seen these in the wild before. I live in georgia US so ion know but when I was small I remember going out side and I tore a leaf off of a succulent I found in my backyard. I FEEL LIKE IM GOING CRAZY THINKING ABOUT IT. but there is no way I'm stupid I know I've seen AND felt those before. They even look exactly like them. Broooooo Ima try to find them later on today.
