I totally agree with you on the topic or controversy of today's music and the past music. I love the nostalgic feel these songs give me, these new songs don't give me that. Songs like this give me a feeling as if I were alive at the time, and those card games I know of too lol, all the adults were either playing cards or outside on the grill or making potato salad in the kitchen. The kids would be out back playing and dancing. Imagine if more artists made music like this still, even if it were llike 90s music or early 2000s music. Music didn't start going downhill till maybe very late 2015 (for me at least) cussing really got out of hand then. Calling women out of their names became a fad, it hurts honestly. My generation is very frowned upon now.
