This is absolute gold. The album shouldve been recorded more like this. This really is legendary and it gives me hope for music and just like, the world.

      Yes.....amazing
      Angela became a target
As soon as her beauty was seen
By young men who try to reduce her down
To a scene on an x-rated screen
Is she not more than the curve of her hips?
Is she not more than the shine on her lips?
Does she not dream to sing and to live and to dance down her own path?
      Without being torn apart
Does she not have a heart?

@Dalton Wicks do you mean that flixzone has all of my movie streaming needs? Where do I sign up and send all of my money?

How is it that can I tap my toes and sing “true sadness”? It’s simply because the artist reminds me that “ the kingdom of God is within you, even though the battle is bound to continue.” Such beautiful poetry in song. I love the Avett Brothers. For me they are everything I wanted The Band to be, because of the intuitive spirituality in their songs. Well done my good and faithful friends!

William M. There’s a ton of it that doesn’t, you just won’t hear it on the radio.

absolutely, one of a few bands who sound so much better live than off a recorded studio album Avett's always lay it out there

Is there a way to record off of you tube? Maybe I'm not supposed to be asking that.

Same 1st time I heard it. My 16yr old daughter played it for me. I can't stop listening. My life's theme song. They reached right into me.

Great performance at the best radio station from my home town, the Twin Cities. Well done by the Current, and more importantly by the Avett Brothers!

My hometown, too, and my all-time favorite band. The more you know them, the more you love them, I think. They are incredibly gracious beings filled with grace and humility. Absolute Avett Adoration here ! :) Namaste

Ok then. Time to stop demonizing each other and “peel a few layers” and find the “true sadness “ that we all share. Start there with acknowledgement. Steps 1 thru 3 in the program for recovery address our powerlessness. And, we don’t have to be alcoholics, as any of the “isms” we suffer from will do. One more thing; “remember the kingdom of God is within you, even though the battle is bound to continue.” Such great insight mixed with toe tapping happiness. What a great song!

I’ve already told it once somewhere on the TH-cam, but even though Scott is my best man, Seth’s songs are the most emotional to me.
