What do you think of the FOMO tactic Rockstar Games is now using with these Drip Fed vehicles in GTA Online?

It's stupid. Honestly, a breach of trust. While the PC version of the game is broken, they continue their greedy business practices.
Totally agree. I intentionally avoid buying items that use this tactic purely on principle and encourage everyone to do the same. This is only the beginning if people give in to their nefarious scheme.
The tactic behind it has to be to get the player to spend their money instead of saving it up therefore making it harder for people to save money in the game
that would actually mean they want to combat the inflation, but sadly all they want is to make you buy these shark cards to get these last missing GTA$$ for that car or whatever is about to come next with this scummy mechanic
doesnt really matter though with how easy it is to make money these days thanks to the agency alone..not to mention the new acid lab business..not defending rockstar here but 3million is nothing in this game these days.
@@ryanmolitor2565 amen, I agree, easier than ever. Always thought just having 5 cargo warehouses was the best way to make you super rich when double money would come around if you had them full, and I think they realize that now so they have dropped it to 1.5 instead of 2.
Nobody is "forced" to buy this car. It's either you do or don't buy it.

It's disturbing how companies are using this FOMO tactic lately.
I spend conservatively, I won't rush out to buy unless something is way too awesome to miss but neither of these cars are that. Agreed on the principle of the idea. Why even bother with all the design time if not many players won't have the chance to buy it? What about new players, granted we're about at end of life for the game, but those players won't get the chance.

I bought this car a while back when I first saw it, I only get vehicles from the high end dealer usually. But I had to buy this cause it’s pretty much the exact car I have in real life.
I don't have an issue with FOMO as long as they don't later bring the items back
This one really stung for me. I love Minis and this particular Issi seems to be based off my favourite IRL model the Countryman. Not to mention that the Issi Sport is my favourite car in the game atm due to it's insane fluid control, lightspeed acceleration, tight turning, and decent off-roading.
So suffice to say, I was hyped for this car, and it is just a stinker. The speed and aesthetics (which are subjective) is all it has going for it, and I wouldn't consider it worth any more than say $1.2M -ish.
I'll defo be keeping mine since I love how it looks, but yeah, can't honestly recommend it, even as a fan of Minis...

The fact that they have an entire platform that's dangerous to play on and they're trying to urge ppl to play is despicable in itself
Been playing for years. Got hundreds of millions. So I bought it, customized and put it in a garage. Probably won't drive again.
I just wish they'd fix their Security instead of Releasing a limited time Car while a Big Chunk of the Player Base has been advised to not play for a while.

As someone who was always broke in this game I hated everything being dropped at once because I could never afford any of it, since September last year I've learnt how to use all my businesses I own correctly to make decent money every hour so I can now afford anything in the game I want and I actually like the drip feed content as it gives me a chance to buy what's been released and test it out thoroughly before the next thing is released rather than buying everything at once.
There's no excuse for being broke in GTA V
@@apples874 you need to re read my comment, I use to be broke, because I didn't know how to run all my businesses, I also wasted my money on things that couldn't help make more money, I have enough money now to buy what ever I want in the game and a continuous supply of money coming in to replace what I spend.

The funny thing is is that both the 300r and the issi rally are still purchasable today
I don’t like FOMO tactics but at the same time it’s cool cause it makes some things more rare. But it’s not new honestly. They did this with the Auto Shop. You can’t get the motorcycle game in the auto shop if you didn’t play that DLC that week it dropped. They been doing stuff like this
can you elaborate on the autoshop exclusivity thing ? this is the first time i know about this
@@younes-47 there is a race/chase arcade game some people have in there auto shops. You can only have that game downstairs in the lobby of the auto shop if you got the auto shop the week the tuners dlc dropped. If you didn’t, then can’t get it in there

It’s actually a good racer.. if you know how to race. If you can’t then you’ll just say its bad!. It is pretty good
FoMo not a big deal on current gen, grinders like me scoop everything up so just ask around and have someone spawn it in LSCM. Then, Its 'always' available 👍😁👍

They should add more original rally and rally looking cars to gta online with lot of different headlight upgrades
Ever since learning the metas from TY I've just been buying cars to add to the collections.
Great full I've made so much money that i can waste it on shitty vehicles and duplicates of the same cars like I have 3 vamos and 2 blades just cause I did demo derbys and drag racing RP on playstation lol
I have already bought this, but i have the money to spend. I think its a little shadey for them to use FOMO on those that dont have the money to really buy it. Really worrying considering gta 6 is in the works. When they nerfed oppressors and buffed payrates and stuff I was pretty hopeful, like maybe they'd revert to a more gta 4 style online for next game. But still include properties and all that, just not rocket bikes and shit.
But apparently they're still greedy as ever so who knows smh. I'd rather they have limited kind of stuff like this as opposed to blatantly OP vehicles that are overpriced.. If I had to choose.
If the car was actually good it would be cool to have a more "rare" car.

The new fear of mossing put dripp feed stated taking a snowb ball effect last years with the free baller st which kutfpr a shorttome. The taken out fpr a tome amd reintodice later for pay. Short term fears of mossing out dlc os totally nothing but shit anti customer bull shot tactics

FOMO or not. If you play GTAO the whole point is making money and picking what you want to spend your money on. I have 260m and have been retired from the game for awhile but IF you want special limited time items then you have to be willing by to spend the money. 99% of the items in the game are ALWAYS there. My point is stop buying things that are always in game and grind to save for stuff that is LTO
Despite both my characters sitting on 700M in GTA$ through 5 years of grinding, there is NO way I'm buying this vehicle. My friend bought it and after trying it with the HSW customization, it's TERRIBLE. Cheapstar now trying to capitalize on FOMO with crappy cars is a new low, especially with the current dangers going on with the PC version and have the audacity to entice players to log in and risk their accounts for a $hitty car.
For the price price of the weeny issis i was able to buy and gb200 and an on sale pister 818. After that i bought a cheeta classic i spent more money tjen i wanted to at least i gotten 3 cool carwith 2 of thwn only being about 1.7m. Between the gb200 and 818 the 2 cars are more fune then only 1 weeny issi ralley. The only weeny issi that i ow if 1 or 2 that can be jacked from gta5 street
I buy all the FOMO and slap them in storage in case my friends want to buy them later on you could just put it in the car meet and they can copy you mainly because I like to keep it straight gangsta 💰💰😸💰💰
Car back in today's update (4/27/23)
Wasn't planning on buying it and after seeing your video reassured me why. The price was too high, and yeah sure it's FOMO but still doesn't make we interested in it.
Myself, I don't give a dam about missing out on vehicles, It's not going to bother me at all, so their FOMO tactic's they can stick where the sun don't shine. I have not logged in for a while now, until they fix the security issues currently in the game, I'm not risking my entire account and or my computer security just to play GTA, the modders are having a field day right now with open slaver on anyone they feel like in a public or invite only session.
No FOMO here… just missing out because Rock⭐️games turned their back on this PC player for the last time. Maybe if I play on my kids videogame console… but not on my PC

Fomo is lame. I look at it as limited. I understand the price is terrible and the car isn’t much better but if it never comes back I’m ok buying it. The price is outrageous especially for new players. Thanks for the videos ty.

I have my issi sport setup for rally/off-road driving. off-road wheels etc. I’m on old gen too so no HSW. that’s the only way I would buy it too. Not worth it really.

This method that Rockstar adopted for the drip-feed is making me avoid playing, i was looking forward for this Issi Rally but the car performance off-road is so disappointing i felt it was money down the drain even with the HSW upgrade.
The Issue with this Weeny it is so Expensive and so small to called “Rally vehicles” So I really must think if I will buy it??! Top video Ty
Tycovered it. HSW fast but Handling AND Brakes are BAD. Not worth it unless you are RICH. Or don't mind grinding.

Rockstar is now drip feeding drip feed cars and even stooped so low as to drip feed hard mode for the update. They are becoming so petty that I think they will move to one new car a month on future updates. Their updates now include basic gimmicky crap that should have been in the game 9 years ago and recycled crap. If this trend continues I am pumping the breaks on buying GTA 6 when it releases and will watch and wait to see if it is a dumpster fire. People assume that GTA 6 will be great but they have become so driven by greed and lack of quality and effort put into their game that I dont trust them. Only time will tell.
I'm honestly only keeping the 300R, cause its rare. It's not the best Imani car.
I hate to admit this but this move for sure will make Rockstar sell more shark cards....personally i am not a car guy but even i am tempted to get this vehicle knowing that it's here only for 1 week....again i don't like that Rockstar are doing this but for sure it's a smart move by them.

I kinda dislike that they're using FOMO tactics to make you buy the vehicle or miss out on it for a while. It was with the ANNIS 300r that let that vehicle have Imani Tech and now it's not in the store anymore since they made a limited time vehicle.
I have it but many others don't and they may not see it again for a while.

I'm sick of the hsw thing....its a kick in the balls to people who can't afford the next generation console or don't want to buy them. Why can't these upgrades be on last gen..?
I just bought it today for the staggering price of 1.8 million and the difference. I only really bought it because I'm a Brit and the Mini Cooper is a cool little rally car which surely the Issi is imitating. That said.......is the Issi Rally worth it? No is it f--k worth it lol. If I had known prior to just how naf it really is at performing ide have saved my money lol. Even though it has 4WD I think it struggles to corner at a higher speed and cornering at a higher speed is a must if you wanna be a winner. I wasn't that far away from back up to ten million in my account for spends on goodies until I decided on the Issi Rally, I suppose I can sell it in later months or maybe just keep it for a little flex who knows. I certainly won't be using it for much that I do know.

This won't be a problem for me, as I don't buy nonfunctional cars. I'm also on THE PS4, so I don't get to enjoy HSW upgrades for my cars. I still might pick it up because I want to make the red mini Cooper from the Italian job. I do want to start collecting novelty vehicles.

This at a time when we PC players are avoiding GTAO like the plague. Double R* whammy. I only fancy it as a static exhibit but at $1.8M, it doesn't even seem worth going into an invite only for 30 seconds to grab it.
They really should have released the car garage first..... Ppl that have no garage space for it are sol. Also a decent chunk of pc players won't get it because of the situation over there... Glad the vehicle sucks so it isn't a major thing to miss but the whole thing is 💩

This is how you know Take Two has ruined Rockstar, all this urgency created just to manipulate the players who don’t have a time to grind money, equating to more shark card sales and GTA+ subscriptions. They’ve made a dirty sales funnel and I feel bad for the players who will fall for it. Keep grinding and don’t spend a penny on this shit show.

I don't get the hype on any cars that has come out in the last few years some are a must but most are just not worth the time or the money if I won't use it to play the game I won't buy it that simple think I have 30 cars and most were from the wheel or I stole them from the street
