- Dr. Harvey's (Bill Pullman) and his daughter move into a house is filled with paranormal ghosts, Stretch, Stinkie and Fatso, who are keen to haunt their new housemates.
Casper (1995): Seeing is believing when everyone’s favorite friendly ghost stars in this charming, live-action adventure from Steven Spielberg’s Amblin Entertainment. “Ghost therapist” Dr. James Harvey (Bill Pullman) and his daughter, Kat (Christina Ricci), have been hired by Carrigan Crittenden (Cathy Moriarty) and her partner-in-slime, Dibs (Eric Idle), to get rid of the spirits at drafty, old Whipstaff Manor. Sure enough, the place is haunted by The Ghostly Trio - Stretch, Stinkie and Fatso - who don’t believe “fleshies” should come anywhere near their haunted domain. But Kat soon meets another, very different kind of spirit: Casper, a good-natured ghost who's just looking for a friend. Can they all learn to live with each other? With dazzling special effects and undeniable humor, it’s a family friendly adventure that’s ghostly fun for everyone!

The way fatso say's "this sucks" as he gets sucked into the vacuum is they my brain has been stating it since I was 6 LOL. whenever something stinks real bad in life and isn't too traumatizing this sound plays in my head lol.
This definitely reminded me of Luigi's Mansion when Dr. Harvey used the vacuum cleaner to suck up these ghosts.

Back when I watched this as a kid during the mid 90's, the scene where Dr. Harvey sucked the ghostly trio into with the vacuum always passed by me as Stinky getting sucked in first saying "Not the arm" followed by Stretch getting sucked in saying "Not the nose". I remembered Fatso getting sucked in last after saying "No" repeatedly but I couldn't recall his line being "This sucks" until many years later when I finally saw the film again.
Fatso: Hey, boys! We got a closet case here.

If it was Wendy the good witches aunts who meant dr Harvey not only would they scare him out but flirted with him crowd him around taking his glasses messing with his hair and give him kisses then he would’ve snuck under them and ran away and find something to fight them
Random fact: At one point in early drafts, Kat was originally written to be Wendy the Witch. (Whether she was named that as an easter egg or was actually written to be a witch is unknown.) but the studio only had the rights to use Casper and Trio when they got permission to make the film from Harvey Entertainment. Although, coincidentally Kat wears a baggy red sweater later in the movie.

As Doc turns back he sees the trio charge at him with their swords ready to thrust him. He quickly shuts the door but sadly all three swords go through.
The ghostly trio all laugh and high five each other
Stinkie: oh you are good
Stretch: no stop it's you
Fatso: are we scary or what
The trio spot a new ghost fly through the bathroom door. It was Dr Harvey having died from the trio. He was all white no legs only a ghostly tail. He still has his hairstyle when he was alive and his knitted sweater jacket.
Doc ready to fight back throws his four finger fists in the air
Doc: come on I ain't scared of you I can take you on
The trio look at each other and realize what has happened
Stretch: take it easy there Doc no need to fight us anymore newbie
Doc confused looks down and sees his tail wiggling in the air and freaks out
Doc nonononononono how why I can't be a ghost I'm not ready for this yet
Stinkie flies over: take it easy Doc you're among friends
Doc: but what about Kat what is she going to do
As if on cue a blood curdling scream is heard from up stairs in view of the main hall she sees her dad having become a ghost.
Kat: dad? No what have you done to him?
Stretch: relax he's just a little dead
The trio laugh
Doc flies to her as she walks slowly backwards
Doc: Kat it's still me please don't run
Kat sobbing runs outside
Stretch knowing what to do turns to fatso
Fatso without any hesitation flies towards Kat with a sword in his hand
The next day Casper is making breakfast for everyone plates of cookies cakes and ice cream as the table is being set helicopter sounds come from the ceiling as the ghostly trio flies down through the ceiling as their tails spin like propeller blades singing Ride of the Valkyries. As the trio squat over in the air at the table stretch calls for Doc and Kat.
Stretch: hey newbies get your food before fatso grabs it
Doc flies through the door with this refreshing look on his face after last night he floats at his spot ready to eat
Doc: Kat c'mon honey food is ready
Finally Kat flies through the door having become a ghost last night with a all white body no legs only a a ghost tail like the rest. Her hair still shoulder length and her face simplified almost cartoonish with a big grin.
Kat: sorry I was getting use to going through walls still feels weird
All the ghosts except for Casper starts grabbing hands full of junk food and shoves them in their mouths without chewing and the food goes right through them to the floor
Kat: having the time of her afterlife stops to think about her situation
Kat: I don't remember the last time I ate this much it is awesome
Fatso: after this we'll scare a buffet all you can eat
Kat finishes her last hand full and licks her hand: that sounds like fun hey dad wanna go scaring
Doc : sure but first we have some business with the fellas here
Stinkie: anyone wants seconds
All said yes
Stinkie flipped upside down and stars eating off the floor mouth first. The rest soon after except for Kat and Casper
Kat: don't you want something to eat
Casper: no go and have at it I'm just the clean up crew for the clean up crew
Kat: suits yourself
Kat flips herself over like the rest all ghostly tails wiggling in the air
Several weeks later Carrigan and Dibs are checking up on Dr. Harvey's success with the ghosts. As he opens a window she is in shock that Dr Harvey is now a ghost and is shooting at his old paperwork but stops the trio from shooting at a picture of Amelia. As for Kat she is spending all her time with Casper as they float down the hallways spraying dust down to make the manor more spooky.
Kat: so you're the reason we're here in Maine and now ghosts.
Casper: well bringing you to Maine yes but not becoming a ghost I just wanted a friend who doesn't get scared
Kat kisses him on his nose
Kat: we're ghosts now nothing is going to change that I love it here
Several years later we see Carrigan growing frustrated in that she can't get in the Manor to grab one treasure. Dibs quit after he saw both Dr Harvey and Kat as ghosts feeling guilty decided to leave and find better work since Carrigan has gone mad and tries again and again to get in the manor . Meanwhile in the manor Kat and Doc look different from when they started Doc has lost his glasses and knitted jacket and his head just has a head tail for hair like the trio. Kat is similar here hair is white like the rest of her body and you can see a bellybutton like the rest of the ghosts
Stretch: it nighttime time to go scaring
All the ghosts except for Casper fly into the main hall.
Doc and Kat have officially become part of the ghostly quintet before she could fly off she gives Casper a kiss on the lips to say goodbye. The manor became a place for all ghost both old and new ones ready to scare
