The draft is a cheaper route to recruit. Only teams with an empty spot to fill after Training Camp will pay the kind of money Simmons, who is ready to go, is seeking.

It's obvious what's going on here, and I have been saying it for months. The national media is pissed off at the Broncos for dumping Russell Wilson. Russ was one of their darlings. Think about it. When Payton yelled at Russ during the Lions game, ESPN called Coach a Bully. When Payton selected Bo Nix, they didn't say the pick was bad or too high or another normal critic. They actually said that Payton drafting Nix was.....ARROGANT. Arrogant? Really? When has anyone ever been called arrogant for making a pick? The national media would be thrilled to see the Broncos fall on their faces in 2024.
It's not just national media, local media despised Payton, as well. I guess you could say, he's not so much of a darlin' as he is a tyrant.

Obviously you don't remember Bountygate through which Mr. Payton was found to have ended the careers of a number of football players, the majority of them being quarterbacks.
I don't know about you, but it's obvious to many of us that Sean Payton doesn't deserve the honor to coach another football team.

It was a New Orleans Saints thing during his years at head coach; never before, never after. His attitude can aptly be described as arrogant but it goes beyond that when his actions have been proven to pose a threat to the health and livlihoods of opposing athletes. Surely, I don't have to remind you of the actions of Kareem Jackson during his first season of being coached by Sean Payton ...

While tight end is a questionable position atleast we got 3 tight ends that have potential to be a #1

Tight ends need to work on blocking....seeing the defender and staying focused on them. Too many times they give up way too much yardage and end up not blocking and finishing the play...Finish the play and Block!!! Be aggressive!!! Dont let others work for you because you didnt perform a routine block. Step up your blocking abilities and be aggressive. We should be feared and not passed off ...." The o-line is easy to run through...6+ yd advantages for us. He doesnt block good.".......... We want defenders to be like " Man that was hard to run through...its like hitting a Wall"".

It’s not a bad line up mims is set for a break out year he fast asf . Sutton broke out last year Reynolds’s Tim & Franklin can share the rest of the wr load . the oline is good enough to allow Bo and the rbs to cook . defense is stacked imo . The dline pressure with our coverage is gone cause a alot of problems as long as we play the run well . We jumping to top 15 this year easy
Technically Williams though is splitting carries with McLaughlin. And the week 1 starting QB situation will be different, Bo Nix will probably have a start later. Unless Coach SP thinks otherwise or if they have high hopes for him.

The Broncos offense alone is relatively suspect… Quarterback; Stidham is an overpaid backup being paid $10M for two seasons. Since being drafted in the four round in 2019 he is 1-3. Zach Wilson, who is probably technically better, is 12-21 as a starter, but did beat the Broncos last season. Finally Nix, a rookie selected TWELFTH in the first round after FIVE other quarterbacks…
Running Backs; Not a single rusher on the roster with a THOUSAND yards, nor rushed more than FOUR touchdowns in a season. Perspective; The Steelers have Harris who has three 1,000 yards seasons, and their RB2 Jaylen Warren had as many yards as the Broncos RB1 Javonte Williams in 2023…
Receivers; THREE veterans whom consistently average roughly 700 yards, or less a season, and average FOUR touchdowns or less a season. The rest are basically rookies… Not to mention TE’s that can’t seem to stay healthy, nor be a consistent threat…
Bottom line; NIX could potentially be the franchise and with Franklin become a successful combo, but that remains to be seen. It is also delusional that despite their record last season, the quarterback situation was technically better than it is NOW…
Broncos need to be able to beat a least four or five playoff bound teams to prove otherwise…
