I read 5 minutes, I found it quite reasonable and, moreover, since I just needed a way to drop shadows, I just used the part explaining that. But then I came back to learn also how to do the glow thing!)

I sometimes get agitated because of the color combinations of the innner color and the shadows grr tho I really am not good with colors T_T
We suggest looking at Color Palette suggestions on google if you're having trouble picking some colors- it can be a real help!
