      C King if the oppenent had a 7 normally dont bet flop and turn, if he had a Q he stop betting on the river, he has only bluff or something like QQ or Q7 or a set of 3, but those are difficult hand to have, so u never overbet the river with a queen for sure

  • @edwardrhodes6284
    @edwardrhodes6284 4 ปีที่แล้ว +41

    Now obviously you know a lot more than me...but from a spectators perspective you always play a lot tighter in the really big games on the rare occasions I see you play them. 50$ - 1K$ games you always seem to play with much more confidence. Like in this video, commenting about the other players perception of you being too passive - when I occasionally see you play this size of buy in you always seem to be worried that you're not quite good enough - or at least that's how it comes across to me. I'm not saying that's why you lost today, some of those spots were harsh but I often think to myself that your continued success is in some part due to your overwhelming confidence in yourself - I don't see you carrying this into this size of game. Good luck in the future.

      @@tommypatrick166 "you play tighter in the big games" not really, if you approach those games much tighter it means you are playing outside your comfort zone and or bankroll/liferoll whatever you want to call it. If he plays tighter in 5k than in 1k (which I havnet really seen, not enough to say he does) and forfeits spots in 5k he wouldnt in 1k etc it means he shouldnt be in the 5k..

    Jo Jamie I just had to pause the video at 26:02 where you made that sick hero call in the 5k. Just wanted to say that your content on TH-cam here recently has been superb and I enjoy your vids a lot. You’re also playing very good at the moment. Very unlucky in the 2k tournament. Keep up the great work man, you’re a twitch poker legend and I love your positivity and how you present yourself.

      The only hand that bothered me a little was at 30:00 when you bluff raised the a8 off on the flop. The flop was so draw heavy and you didn’t really have many good turns didn’t you? So a fold would have been just fine there? Just my perception of the hand.

    The hand @ min 30 w/ TT why not small overbet jam turn Ad? Villain has a lot of Ax but so do you? I mean you would take the same line w/ ATs-AKs//A5s & All AQ,AK combos c-bet 30% otf, jam turn wouldn't you? Also, what about all the times he is balancing Js-Ks here (Js def shoves a lot pre but still some players balance them into their flatting oop pre fairly deep) pre you're check turn caps you vs villain who you're letting gain value by not jammin ott enough when Ax comes, also wondering what you would do on J,Q,K turn if you are planning on jammin those I think it's good to balance some frequency on A turn aswell. I mean what Ax if floating otf that called oop? AK shoves pre, AT folds, AJs/AQs are the only candidates given they have enough equity aswell with backdoor flush to float 25% otf. but that's not enough combos to elicit not balancing ott. I give him a lot more Js-Ks//sets, wouldn't 77 & 88 also be a good float here 25% otf, then shoves river when checked backed ott turning his hand into a bluff. Anyways love the video-----
