40 yrs ago when I began playing drums I never thought that anybody would ever be better than Neil Peart, Billy Cobham or Carl Palmer.... Then guys like Mike Portnoy, Mike Mangini and Virgil Donation came along..... Now you've got Arica and a few others surpassing everything that has been done.... I cannot fathom the monster drummers that will be taking it beyond the limits in the next decade.....
I’ve idolized this dude since the first time i discovered him. An absolute drumming machine, love your content hope you come to my hometown sometime been wanting to see you live soo bad
I met him briefly after a show in London in 2019 and he also seems like a really lovely, humble guy in addition to his phenomenal drumming talent. One of the greatest innovators in drumming that I know of. Got my ticket signed and got a photo too >:)
Aric, I only discovered you and Night Verses a couple weeks ago, and I love everything about your groove, your flow, your musicianship, your taste in percussion, just about everything, man. You remind me a lot of Mario Duplantier and I love everything you make. Keep up the awesome work!
Your FREAKING INCREDIBLE brother. Thanks for sharing. Keep the content coming. Hope to meet you in person one day in the future. Hope you have an incredible night. Much love
I'm so grateful you have dedicated your life to simply channeling your soul into art. In so many ways you have satisfied me. No bromo but I love everything you put out. You and your family ⅓homies are creative af. U ever want to talk to some random ass
You are a drumming god my friend! I remember seeing the video where you won a drum competition, I think it was guitar center, and it just blew me away. It reminded me of the video of Tony Royster Jr when he was like 12, because like Tony in that video, I saw you do stuff I had never seen. Since then I have been following your work, and when I watched Blur-Lights in the Videodrome for the first time I was in awe! Of the 262,532 views on that video, I account for at least 100 of them if not more. You are by far one of the most talented drummer/musicians around, and I so look forward to seeing the amazing things you will surely do in the coming years. I wish you many, many years of joy in doing what you love and being successful at it! Peace and love from a fellow drummer in Syracuse New York
Anyone know what the Bongo/djembe like drum is on his left that he plays at the end sitting on the snare stand ? It's like the top of a conga without the body of the drum. I have really been wanting to add something like that to my kit

Aric Improta will be remembered among the all-time greats.
00:43 is one of the heaviest grooves I’ve heard in a drum solo
I was like "where'd the metronome come out of nowhere from" then I saw the jam block. Fucking epic
You're a freak of nature dude! Keep killing it!

good drummer, sjw band.
Amazing drumming.. as far as pitch shifting or whatever. He's using a damned pedal. That's not really impressive. That's everyday hardware.
