I am curious if you have ever used Butcher's Wax (bowling alley wax) on your models. I wonder if it would have a better interaction with the "chrome," since you can buff it up to a pretty nice shine.
Hey! I just have one question. when ever I lightly mist the chrome, it usually leaves specks on the black and looks very ugly... How do u make it more... (for lack of a better term) uniform?
+itsmemariobrasileiro i will see what i can do about that, until now i have not been able to find a good gold that will give me this kind of chrome finish, , its just your typical metalic golds
+Rafael Robled once saw a jewelry imitation seller. he told me he uses a silver base and covered with translucent paint or varnish for glass . I could never reproduce the effect of gold I saw that day. Thanks for the lessons.
+Rafael Robledo Jr I was actually going to ask about a mirror gold finish and if you would use the same method with the black, gloss undercoat ...? Seen some pretty decent results using gold leaf. Always fancied doing a c3po bust experimenting with that . superb as always Rafa :)
+TootaMagoota well to be hones, this is not my full time job, i do have a 8 to 5 job, that requires i wear a suit, so when i have some free time, i get into my garage and do this stuff, but have to stay in the suit in case i get a call , and this way im ready to go, lol
