I was finally going to get my first gold victory. The game broke. I got to the victory on day 12-my 10 but it crashed all the way back to day 10, and it did it 5 times. It was not meant to be lol.
Was thinking the same thing. Had several opportunities to increase the value of the fixer upper. It could've made the difference when he did get faced against scales.
Awe man, I love Silk starts into Kimono for the easy upgrade. I'm surprised you didn't try Silk+Spiky Shield. It's a very strong build. Silk+Crab Claw is the best scenario. Also taking 20% health loss for +50% crit on the Weapon you had would've let you scale more offensively. Scaling items like Silk/Spiky Shield/etc tend to have a 'Shield/Heal' based on their scaling value. So giving Restorative to Spiky Shield also makes it heal equal to your shield.
Can't they use AI to balance a game like this? Because as of now it's just a fancy free to play slot machine. Sure they can change 'win' conditions but it doesn't take much to figure.
As a game designer, AI is a very bad solution to this. 1. It would lead to very frequent changes. 2. It wouldn't change the fundamental design problems like Monitor Lizard. You notice how they've been changing towards 'When X triggers, charge this' instead of 'When you slow, activate this item'. 3. AI is frequently a black box, so when it'd say "Buff Piggles to 1s cooldown" its very opaque as to why it's making that recommendation. 4. It's very infrastructurally expensive to implement, sometimes for not a lot of benefit.
@@REWASDFGHJThe opaqueness to its reasoning also sets up the issue that you begin to rely on it to do things for you (and therefore lose out on the ability to do it yourself later)
I'm getting better I swear

They could also replace the players with AI. Cut out the middle man, never receive a bug report ever again! (I am being sarcastic)
@deluxeloy gamblers anonymous is a great program you should really look into it.
