I’m thinking back to the first videos of this place and the progress and process has been epic. It’s been fun to watch- thanks again for sharing. It’s great to see Jamie back in front of the camera.

We put the same granite in our forever home too! Hard to believe it’s been 11 years ago and I still love it as much today! You are correct that it’s non a common granite. It does pull everything together. I love the tiny pops of purple and almost garnet. We went to a larger city to hand pick our slabs. One was broken in transit. So we used it in our utility room. So granite through out. It looks different but the same in all the rooms! Great choice❤️

Beautiful, and absolutely love it! Alas when I had my house built, I was still working my own career, so I could see nothing of the process. So glad to watch yours, and try to visualize what likely went on up here. I love the granite you chose, btw.
Fabulous! I love the mix of the colors in the kitchen cabinets and the slab you selected pulls it together so beautifully! One tip… Consider the parts of the seating that will hit the slab as you tuck the chairs in. My mom got some that had a painted finish and within a year the paint was chipping where it bumped the slab. Upholstered would have held up better, even though they would have cost more up front. The ones she got weren’t cheap, but not as pricey as the upholstered. Very happy for y’all!
