Hello!! I recently picked up studying Japanese again after stopping it for more than once (for different valid reasons). Japanese has always been a language I loved to master. I am really grateful that I stumbled upon your videos. I tried a lot of other videos but I think the calm feeling I get from your vlogs really help me understand the content and concentrate more. I have tried a lot of methods to approach Japanese, but after watching your videos I feel like I may have found what works for me the best. Good Luck and Thank you so much for your work!!
Thank you for such an interesting video. Your videoes help me improve listening skill very much. Moreover, I can also learn the Japanese culture at the same time. I really like this ceremony. Kimono is very beautiful. In Thailand, there is no ceremony like this.
Congratulations on your daughter’s coming-of-age ceremony! Today I learned a new cultural thing that Japanese do. I’m really happy. Japanese culture fascinating! I love it. Thank you for making these kind of videos. Through these kind of videos Japanese learners can improve their language knowledge as well as the culture in Japan.❤ありがとうごさいます せんせい。❤
ありがとござます for sharing your daughter's special day. I'm sure you are all very proud😊. America doesn't really have a coming of age type ceremony. Since we are a country of mixed familial backgrounds, it's really individualistic. For instance, when I was growing up, 16 was when you were able to get your license and can finally drive. I think now most people celebrate really 21, because that's when you can drink.
This was a very amazing video, it was quite interesting learning about Japanese culture,I am very excited to take my Japanese further with fumi in her community ❤️🔥Thankyou so much for continuously teaching and making a big difference 😌
Such an elaborate celebration! Very fascinating. Over here in the US we don't have anything that cool for coming of age. The bigger celebrations happen with high school and college graduations.
Very informative video. The closest thing I know that is similar to this in the US is sweet 16 or quinceañeras. However, I don’t think sweet 16 are as commonly celebrated. Where I live, i mostly hear about quinceañeras. Which are more common with Latino Americans.
First of all: Congratulations to your daughter ^_^ Oh wow..that Kimono is just absolutly beautiful! All those patterns woven into it even the shitagi was beautifully made. Just amazing. Now I understand that Kimono are somewhat restricting and extremely hard to put on but can we please start making clothes with such fabrics more again? (I'd prolly be to poor to buy them but damn D:) Also the fact that you went to have mcdonalds after sushi was rather amusing XD in my family sometimes after eating out really well we'd make jokes about eating something "proper" now and going to mcdonalds XD I'd not think that'd I'd see the day someone put that into action. hehe we don't have any Ceremonies of that sort here :(

Hello sensei! Nice new vlog! 😄☺ What's the difference between a kimono and a yukata? They kinda look the same to me. 😅 2:47 It's also the time to pay taxes as well lol. 10:56 Are they as expensive as a car? 🤣🤣🤣 16:25 There's only one restaurant that I know where I live, but they don't serve the Nigiri type, mostly the rolled ones. 😅😅😅 17:14 Can I have a Double Cheeseburger with a side of fries and coke? hold the pickles. 🤣🤣🤣 17:42 Honda N-one 😯😯😯 19:19 Nope 🥲🥲🥲
Hi Fumi, excellent video. Congratulate your daughter for me, she looked wonderful! We really don't have anything like that here, the US is quite bland. I personally love the look of a kimono, even though it may be impractical. The dressing, undressing, and folding was intense. How much would that outfit cost? Thanks for your hard work and see you next time. 😸😻
I'm glad you like the look of a kimono. If you buy furisode, it'll be over 200,000 yen at cheapest, and over 1,000,000 yen if you buy a good one😄 You have to buy obi and other small things too!
In Brazil, I don't think we have anything like that. The closest i can think is when a woman is 15 and makes a special birthday party, but is more individual and not something everyone does
Congratulations for this beautiful day and ceremony! Excellent video, as always! Greetings from Greece! ❤
Thank you for watching from Greece!!😄

What a nice day 😊. She looked beautiful, just like her mom 🤗

And thank you for sharing the information!!✨
Really really your video help innovation and motivation

I've heard of sweet 16. It sounds cute😄
Cool new video, Fumi! Well done!
Isa
Thank you for sharing :)
My pleasure!😄✨
Arigatou sensei ❤️❤️💐
My goodness, "No foods, no drinks and no bathroom"?
Yes, indeed It's really pretty, _Thanks for sharing. Everybody is happy, that's good.
You help me a lot! Thank You very much!
My pleasure!!😄

Im indonesian

Yukata is a kimono for summer. It's much more cheaper and easy to wear😄

❤❤❤so cute 😂😂😂
Thank you!!😄
10.5k for a wash? I can't imagine what the actual cost of the 振袖 would be!
Right😅
