HOUSTON STRONG!!!!! 💪🏼 and that’s just not a saying in this city, we take care of our own down here. I was so proud of my city during Hurricane Harvey because the city really showed the rest of the US how we do things in the great state of Texas, especially in Houston. People weren’t waiting on first responders Bc we all knew they were overwhelmed. In the middle of a damn hurricane this city rolled up their sleeves and got to work. People were pulling out their personal boats, canoes, inflatable rafts, whatever it took to go rescue their neighbors in high water. As soon as the rain stopped, people just started helping each other rebuild. Random strangers walking up to flooded homes to help a needy family rebuild from scratch. When people ask me why HOUSTON IS THE GREATEST CITY IN THE WORLD!l? That’s why! We look out for each other, that’s the culture in this city. Always been this way. HTOWN!!! 🤘🏼🚀🚀🚀🚀
I moved down there from Ohio & I loved Houston. It's like a big country city. The cost of living is great and the people were cool. I don't live there anymore, but it was definitely a cool place.
Anybody new to Houston, you need to check out, Taqueria Del Sol, 8th wonder brewery, Smither Park in southeast Houston, basically all of Memorial Park, Miller Outdoor, The Breakfast Club, and you gotta see the bats fly out from under the bridge

I’m moving to New York City bro well Staten Island I’m tired of Florida time for a change need that fast pace lifestyle plus I’m a musician so New York will be perfect for me to chase my dreams in
L Thompson Thats bless brodie, the city is a great place to connect with people and some bomb ass studios so do your thing over there and #StayTrueToSelf
SlickVisions they say if you can make it here you can make it anywhere that is what they say that means if you can achieve your dreams in New York then you can achieve them anywhere once I move to New York I’m not moving to another city! It is no place like New York City so fast pace and all about the hustle and bustle
Hey I might recommend against Staten Island or be careful. That is the most isolated borough and the hustle and bustle isn't as active in Staten Island. It's basically the slowest borough in New York. Also, sometimes commutes can be brutal from Staten Island with a high toll for cars or long ferry rides (though they are free). Research beforehand.

I was born in Miami but raised in Atl, 39 years old, no wife or kids, not necessarily trying to settle down, looking for a decent wage job, like to go out and try new bars and lounges, love the night life, where in Houston would you guys recommend?
Moving out there in Jan 🔥
Moamen Salah Safe Travels👍🏽
F*** you. Go to Dallas or something, we don’t need more traffic
I wanna relocate in a month but I don’t have a car. Any suggestions to move near public transportation. I’m from New Jersey New York too, I can’t wait to leave and just take a chance and start over somewhere new. I used to live in California but left and came back to New Jersey now I want to move again lol. Any suggestions on where to live? Thanks!
Your Dwelling Space sorry for such the late response, if you can make it happen financially definitely downtown Houston or Southside Houston you won’t need transportation in these areas you can easily take a bus, the metro etc
SlickVisions thank you! That’s not the hood right, lol. I really want to live in a nice area, not someplace where I hear gun shots....I want a beautiful serene scenery.. I’m not leaving from one ok place to worse, lol.
Your Dwelling Space hahahah hell nah i would never suggest that to you! Downtown and the southside are the more pricey areas where its very beautiful
I will be moving to Texas next year but I'm scared of the big move. I don't know anyone there. 😬
Morena Morena Change always adds alittle nerves but change allows room for growth so good-luck and if your a good person you’ll definitely meet some good people
@@JeroyW Yeah true. Thanks!
Don’t move to Houston. You won’t make any friends, you’re a loser
Why’d i think that deer was real at 6:42 😂
Mac Rockier 😂😂😂😂 im cryinggggg
Might move today, feeling anxious.
Mark Lucio Enjoy your travels !
SlickVisions Taking a rest in New Mexico. Had to make a change for me. Thanks for the motivation Slick!
Mark Lucio Nice Mark thats important i took a rest day in Atlanta! Absolutely homie✊🏾
I want to move to Houston so bad. But HURRICANES! Mother Nature is terrifying and I’m not trying to get in her way lmao.
SlickVisions I will and can you check out my piano videos bro they are on my channel subscribe tell friends and tell me what you think
Great video! I'm moving down to Houston from Spring Valley/Rockland County. Where are you from in Upstate?
I made this same decision 7 years ago.I have my Pros & Cons with Houston I'm not gonna lie 😂. But glad I moved here!
I'll be relocating to houston next month. How old r u????👀👀
P Hamilton Sweet best of luck, im 25
I know you mentioned that you're from upstate NY. But imagine you have been to NYC before. Is Houston 24hrs like NYC?
dope intro!
Matt Dean Thanks homie💯
