- These two bald eagles are at a wildlife rescue in Illinois. Unfornutately they were permanently injured therefore are not releasable. Sorry the camera was shaking so much, there are actually three eagles in this enclosure and the third one was being a bit active behind me. He flew past my head once....thats when the camera jumped!
These birds are at Treehouse Wildlife Center.

If you listen closely when the car alarm beeps the eagle nearest to the camera tries to mimic the sound of the car alarm @ 0:18 seconds.

I saw and heard a bald eagle in their native habitat here a few months ago and it was exciting. I love birds and seeing them. Where I live we have a lot of big and small birds including eagles, cranes, great blue herons, egrets, cardinals, hawks, hummingbirds and much more. They all will be by the pond behind our house or walking down our street or driveway

Last year while on a hike I found a bald eagle head on a walking stick and its body in a canvas bag under the dirt below the stick, ceeeped me out thought I found a body of a human, the dwr came and said is was "common" and just threw it in the river like it was nothing but they took the bald eagle head on a stick

In the USA, we use "America" as an abbreviated form of "The United States of America". Similarly, in Mexico, they use "Mexico" as an abbreviated form of "Los Estados Unidos Mexicanos", or, in English, "The United Mexican States".

We don't know, so far as I know, but it could be reasonable for the white feathers to exist for display purposes. The white feathers appear when the eagle becomes sexually mature, so it could be a way for Eagles to tell who is a potential mate.
