my singles collection only numbers about 50 or so, but i was still inspired by this video to declutter and organize my shadow stash some more, and got rid of some old items, broken Z palette, dried out creams and supershocks, etc.
Wow that was a lot to go through. Thank you for sharing. I do feel like it might be time to get rid of my black based multichromes. I've had them for almost four years now, and they just aren't as shifty and shiny as they once were. Plus, I prefer the translucent base like you do.
I’ve got to get it together! I can’t decide whether I should organize by brand or texture or colour. I think I’ll keep my 12 pan palettes as BYOP’s though. I tend to build those as I go. You have a huge collection and an encyclopedic knowledge of the shadows you own! I tend to drown a bit in the cacophony of my singles. Thank you for going over all of these so thoroughly.
I say organize by color! For me it’s always easier because I can just look to that area for the colors I’m looking for to do my look. I feel like by brand it can work where organize by brand but according to color. But then it’s a little less organized looking to me because there’s groups of colors in different areas since they’re separated by brand 😂 Unless there’s a specific brand I prefer, then sometimes I’ll organize those together separately and then the rest on their own so I know exactly where all my preferred ones are if that makes sense.
NICE & on my day off! 🎉 btw, if I've never mentioned it before, pfyf absolutely benefit from a tacky base. Some of them tend to be my most fall out prone shimmers. 😅
Just seeing your collection is so satisfying! I've been lightly decluttering mine at various points during the year but my preferences are almost opposite of yours because my skin tone is medium-deep. Iridescent and light/pastel shades either look ashy on me or the base isn't visible on my skin so I got rid of those and won't be tempted to buy more. I don't like flaky or extremely sparkly shades so those also had to go. I got rid of my black based multichromes from Terra Moons a few years ago because I noticed they weren't as good as Clionadh or Devinah. I also purged all but 4 black based multichromes from Devinah since I had the same shades from Clionadh. I have 14 of the Jewelled multichromes from Clionadh and I love them so much! I also have the entire set of Deep Iridescents and go for those when I want a lighter shade. I have two of the Jewelled Lites and I will probably get them all by the end of the year.

It's so hard to find videos that are specifically of SBSD that aren't their collabs. Until the Eternal collection came out the only ones I seen regularly were from Lauren Mae Beauty from a year or 2 ago. I'm so glad content creators are starting to shine a well deserved light onto the brand other than their influencer collabs. I think they're extremely underrated and enjoy their shadows so much more than my Clionadh shadows. They're creeping up there with my Terra Moons collection. I was late to the game with Clionadh and got my first 14 shades in 2 orders of 7 in November. I got the 2nd order before the first came in and regret it. I mostly got the electric and glitter formulas but threw in royalty, Renaissance and Radiance from the other formulas as well. I just wasn't a fan. The only one I use is opulent and ironically it was discounted because of a discrepancy in the formula and I don't usually gravitate to neutrals. I like royalty but have several others that are dupes that I use instead.
I have a video up on some of the looxi shades, but yes i do want to do a video with the rest of them. And yes PFYF will also have a dedicated video once I try them out

I organize mine by brand but also by color. So I’ll have all my TM together but then I’ll have them sorted by colors.
