Not gonna lie, the throat hitbox is the dumbest thing ever, makes sense otherwise you wouldn't have any hitbox there. But the fact there is not a single armor that can protect this place properly is a massive flaw in tarkov.

Pretty sure getting shot in the neck is due to recoil, recoil was leading bullets up to collarbone, now it leads past that armor into neck.

The game is literally based around getting better shit so you feel like you lose somehting when you die. Having good armour and better bullets not matter in this kind of game makes 0 sense.
@@NotOlzen yea making armor stronger isnt the answer cause it makes a problem with SMGs being useless yet again for another wipe, the answer is tweak hitboxes
@@zzmr_stretchzz8772 i mean, SMG trades less armour pen and dmg for being a laser beam. Thats the whole point of SMGs. Great early wipe. I dont see the problem with that
@@NotOlzen no thats an arcade game balance this isnt an arcade game. there would be no point in different ammo types if this was the case. example shotguns work no matter what time of wipe it is based on ammo type same with guns that shoot 308 or higher work at their intended role. the role of and smg is close quarters the armor changes make that impossible yet they make the AP ammo cost so much and limited by alot even more so than other ammo types that do better damage and armor pen. also every gun in 5.56 is a laserbeam or 5.45 or 6.3 or 9x39 or 5.7 they all have zero recoil yet they still fuck, its just a poor change because they have to work on body hitboxes so they can re add the proper armor hitboxes

its a hardcore game with realistic hitboxes, you can die in the eyes and throat completely realistic. I guess people don't die in the war by being shot in the neck or eyes, just where the helmet is

Not gonna lie, I started playing Tarkov again last monday, but I have been playing the PVE as it was released for people with EOD like myself. I have actually been enjoying playing Tarkov, I would play more PVP, but thinking about those past times I have always been killed by a player that is just cracked, I never was able to enjoy the game because i kept dying and dying. You either play against people who are Amazing at this game, or play against people who are hacking, and I have encountered a lot of them personally. People Like LVNDMARK here, scare the crap outa me, I wouldn't want to play a match against him.

Good god this game's shit. Even with all bs that BSG is doing aside - After playing recent new shooters tarkov really shows it's age. 7 years of clunky mechanics, terrible performance, visual glitches, TERRIBLE audio and non existing AI

If I payed for tarkov every month for 5 dollars for the past 5 years I’ve played I would’ve paid $300!! I would never pay $300 dollars to play tarkov, I’m okay with putting my 150 upfront back then and having a game build how it did but 300 dollars is a terrible investment imo

@@birdyman4956 "for real advantage" like buying EOD or Unheard isn't an INSANE advantage over standard edition, like 10x more advantageous than buying a secure container in ABI. you don't need to buy a case to play ABI, you have the same stash size regardless of what you buy in ABI, and there aren't any hideout upgrades you need to grind an extra 60-100 hours to complete.
@birdyman4956 nah it's easier to pay $4 a month cause that ain't gonna make a phat ass dent in your paycheck every time. Tarkovs 250 upfront may be cheaper in the ling run, but it's still gonna take months before ABIs subscription costs more.

@shawnfoogle920 I mean had these engines progress there is always a chance something better will come and I think eventually it will. But until then, I think ABI is the better option. Only cause it's free and it's not nearly as buggy or bad as tarkov. Tarkov is cursed with tue engine it's built on and sadly I think it will always be broken and not worth $250. Not even 100$ maybe 60 when it's fully released. But everyone has their own taste and opinions

I paid the extra 50 bucks for PVE. Been playing the game for years without the experience of playing the later quests and getting the unlocks and perks... so now that I can play a wipe less mode... I can experience more of the game. Thats all.

Everything you said about subscription is exactly what ive thought and said since day 1 of the self-induced death of this game.... Had they gone monthly sub a long time ago, theyd be in a much better standing now financially.. theyd have income to pay people to roll content out faster, it would just be a better game...
Look at warcraft.. 8.99 a month or whatever it is now, they bring out an expansion, its reasonably priced, people are happy to pay that because you get a tonne of extra content. You put what they do up against 250$ for essentially the same game with a handful of extras, and is a blatent money squeeze, yeah its no wonder Tarkovs now lost alot of its player base (myself included).. people should rightly be annoyed. Anyone who says otherwise is just defending the fact they got ripped off. That's not the point. The point was firstly, that the $150 version was the final cost before the game was released IN FULL. Secondly, it was that they actively changed the wording on the $150 in the middle of the drama to try and get away with it and act like it was never meant to be that way. And thirdly, that they were trying to act like the PvE mode wasn't a DLC that should be included in the $150 version that always said it would include ALL DLC before the full release. As someone who has the $150 version, it's just a fuck you. Also it was $250, not $200 initially.

The $150 was supposed to be the ultimate edition of the game. Then they went and made a version with access to more stuff than the ultimate edition

Its not that I have to pay more it’s that they just didn’t follow through with a promise that was kept for 8 years after myself and hundreds of thousands of other players spent 150 dollars (2.5x the amount of a regular triple A game at the time) for a completely bare and unfinished product. I think the gameplay is extraordinarily fun and among the best gunplay of any shooting game Ive ever owned. It’s moreso that the devs made a decision that caused us to lose faith in the games. Same reason I haven’t bought a cod since mw2019 and a battlefield since bf1

I get the impulse to defend a piece of media you love no matter what and supporting it regardless of faults with both the game itself and the company that owns it. That said being critical, not purchasing a product is saying the product is poor or the idea behind it is poor, is objectively always a good thing to do. The more constructive the better and people can certainly be ass hats while being critical of something when behaving like that does not help you make your case. Those who care the most about something are often the first to be critical of shortcomings and can't be blamed if the person or organization wont take it to heart and improve or other players ignore the faults. Unfortunately all those UoE players you saw did more harm long term for the health of the game by supporting the blatant p2w garbage in the edition. You are effectively buying some cases and you can buy stash space upgrades regardless of your edition now. So you are literally just paying for the blatant pay to win stuff at that point. I could be wrong, but cant you buy the single player mode on its own if you want it? If so it is not like content was being gated by it. You are also diluting your own experience by just purchasing stuff that had normally been a fun little milestone to achieve like a weapon box.
