Yea I went crazy for 3 years straight buying good knives and I also have Benchmades to. I own about 28 knives ranging from 200 to 600 and believe me I didn't have the money to really buy them because it hurt me alot financially but I was really into collecting them at the time. But even though I love having them it was stupid because I keep them in my gun safe and don't use any of them except the Yojumbo I carry and the neck knife and Parimilitary 2 from Spyderco and all the rest never cut anything but testing out the sharpness on paper. I just take them out and look at them and wipe them down and that's it so that's why it wasn't worth me spending all that money for all them because I only use 3 of them but that's how I get when I'm into something.

This maybe a stupid comment, but have you thought about shooting pepperballs with your slingshot for self defense? Can pepperballs be safely fired from a slingshot and be effective?
I have thought about defense specific blades alot. As i am a knife maker. I have also noticed the heavy stigma placed on a person who is left with no choice but to deploy the blade in order to get home alive. I cannot figure it out exactly. Bit it does seem youre let off lighter if you use a side arm. My guess is this- it takes a very different kind of person to use a blade in self defense. Its ugly, up close, and savage. Theres no mercy in it. A person will always hesitate to stab and slice, even if they know they have to. But a person who CAN override that impulse, is not a person that can be easily controlled. And i hate to say it- but we dont live in a free country. And your life is of limited value to our rulers.
I love you brother very nice EDC setup. Very sweet, im really into good knives I have many great ones, Microtek, Spyderco, Protek and so on. My self protection carry knife is a Spyderco Yojumbo with S 30V steel and my user is a Spyderco Parimilitary 2 with Maxamet steel. My neck Cary knife is a Spyderco also I just can't think of it's name and my light is a Olight Mini Seeker 4. Great video buddy.
