for autodesk maya 2017, the thickness for extruding the mug's surface should be around 0.1 in order to get a similar thickness as shown . for some reason it is MUCH thicker at 0.350 for the new version.

I model a cartoon and i use duplicate special after completing a character now i want to merg the vertices in center of character but the vertex are megring what problem is accruing plez explaint it how i merg the vertex in middle
I have 1 issue. I always end up with my models looking very cartoonish, as if I ripped that model straight out of a movie. It's almost everything I make. It just looks unrealistic, which is demolishing me, because I am aiming to achieve realism.

Why is your Torus so thin when you bring it out? It prompts you to drag to place but that doesn't happen in my Maya 2018.

How do you get out of duplicate special mirror mode? Every time i do something to one side it is done to the other.
By default your duplicate special should be off.
Go to Duplicate Seecial / Option Box and reset settings

like its bridging the faces but not the edges this is humorous i did send you an email tough please check it out and help when possible
tried everything i tried deleting the faces and yea no idea lol
To bridge you need an equal number of edges and they have to be on the same object ( mesh )
