- Libraries contain books containing chapters of paragraphs of sentences of words containing ideas forming words in sentences in paragraphs in chapters of books in libraries. We make these libraries to fill our time and satisfy our need to learn and grow and to share and know.
three novels:
Norwegian Wood (Haruki Murakami)
The Road (Cormac McCarthy)
Stoner (John Williams; no, not "the" John Williams) - บันเทิง
Bravo.
Hell yeah, man :)
oh shit thanks for the good advice
This is fucking awesome man. I usually scroll past these types of videos for the exact reasons you mentioned - I don’t want to be told a “god tip” to perfectly fix my life. But this video re-assured me that there’s others like me out there, who want to grow on their own journey and not somebody else’s.
Not to mention just how well-done this video is in general. You’ve ruthlessly cut out the unimportant and focused on what you wanted to say the most.
i love that cat

My biggest takeaway from this video, never read a self help book xD
haha yeah the video is a bit harsh on the genre. Some self-help books offer some sound advice. But in general, books about how to do specific skills are 100x more interesting and useful. Novels tend to be far more enjoyable and inspiring. Self-help is in a weird position between the two extremes: not fun to read--not useful to read.
I found a book I was interested in, but then I found out it was out of print and worth like £100 😭
Which one? That's an expensive read :o
@@MintMountain Formalized Music by Iannis Xenakis
I ended up being able to get a copy from my local music library though, so it turned out well
Why did you use video clips that you used? I feel like they were very random. They added almost nothing to the overall quality of the video.
