can u plz tell me why have you taken 2ml of TSB and 2 ml of nalidixic acid solution. if the stock solution of nalidixic acid is 2048ug/ml. then how can we calculate how much ul of the antibiotic needs to be taken so that the final conc of nalidixic acid becomes 1ug/ml??
Yes you use 100 microliters of growth media and 100 microl of sample and for inoculation 10 microl of bacterial dilution in 96 wells plates with multi-channel pippets for easier and faster processing
Very informative and to the point.
Amazing explanation
Very nice and straightforward. Do you have a written protocol of this procedure, I would like to try and replicate it in my lab.
Can we use tubes instead of microtitre plate fr performing MICtesting

very informative, but I guess u can make the handling easier and less complicated by using serial dilution tubes

Where in the video did you put the different concentrations?
The concentrations of the nalidixic acid are given at timepoint 7.11 of the video, starting from 1024 micrograms/ml down to 0 micrograms/ml
Why add only 100ul.of bacteria not 200 ul
